    Tuesday chat

    Winter is back in mid-Michigan.

Regarding Kim & Zeeva, Kim had posted before losing Joker & Lillie that she and JJ were going to try to work things out.  As far as keeping Zeeva, I'm sorry for 3girls disappointment.  I sincerely hope all decisions Kim and her family have made work out for the best.

Two credit card statements down, one to go, along with all the other crap, before the mail brings more again.  Never a dull moment here.

We're getting the cold nights again...and the very slow to warm up days.  Lows in the 30's, which I know sounds heavenly to those of you up North, but danged cold for here!  At least the sun is shining.

Stupidly, I'm still upset about the postman tearing up my yard because it really feels personal.  Stupid, I know.

Too much to do today and too little time.....

I hope so, too.  Thanks for the background info, Tina.

I'm feeling sorry for South Carolinans especially today:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_lt_gov_don_t_help_the_poor  SC politician's welfare comments called "immoral".  This is the guy presumed to take over since the now-Governor got caught with his mistress in Argentina?  YIKES.  To quote Andre Bauer directly:

"My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed! You're facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don't think too much further than that."

    Uhhhh... that's appalling.

I totally get what you're saying!  I did my yard up the year before last and people still think they can just turn on my lawn.  Even after I put signs up stating ot stay off the grass.  Usually I wouldn't mind but on a new lawn the soil wasn't fully settled so each time someone would turn I'ld have to fill the area in just slightly and reseed.  Just very annoying!

What did the postman do, drive on the lawn and spin?  I'd be enraged if I were you!

Anyhow, I can see about 20 feet out my window and the rest is fog! At least the rain stopped!

    Dear Crazy Client,

Your nuts, simply put. You yell at me for things your OTHER vendor is doing. I'm happy to fix any errors WE make, but would appreciate you checking first before yelling at the wrong person. When I ask you if the program is working well for you, if any adjustments are needed and you say NO, that doesn't mean I can suddenly read your mind and know you didn't actually mean that. So, don't yell at me for things I'm not doing or didn't change because you didn't request it, even though I check in with you multiple times per month. ESP is not one of my skills, though I sorely wish I had a touch of it. Also, no other client our company has uses two vendors for the same exact service. So if your confused as to why our results and their results are different, that's your problem not mine. It's not "industry standard" to use two vendors for the type of service we are providing.

Your either really happy and on cloud 9 or rip roaring flaming mad. They make medication for this. I really suggest you try some. It would make you more balanced and likely make anyone who has the pleasure of dealing with you happier. I know I would be.

    Yours Truly,

    Your Beyond Frustrated Account Manager

Ahhh I feel better now. Had to get that out before I just start banging my head on the desk.

Just got back from dropping my mom off at the airport - she is at thsi really confused point in her life she will be 70 this year and her health is very good but she has lost many friends and my aunt of course is very very ill.  My uncle (her brother) will be the only remaining family member of their generation and it is clear it has unsettled her.  Se doesn't look 70 so she thinks she can pretend that she is say 60 but then she wants to be treated like an old lady.

Not sure I can explain it well but let's just say it is very awkward all the time with her which made this trip exhausting for me

AND I have much work to catch up on and much cleaning.  Ah well it will all get done LOL

and I had best get to it

     hmmmmm......

Is that like "Ohhhm" - in that you need to meditate to keep from killing a co-worker?

PS, I haven't taken any good pics, but the big brown teddy bear you sent us is Gracie's aaaaabsolute favorite thing.  SO much so, that we had a major reconstructive surgery this weekend to restuff and fix Teddy's face... and neck... and back of his head... and belly.  He currently has no eyes, since Henry plucked them.  G was very confused why momma would not let her have Teddy, since she was flopping him around in her lap!  (um, no needles for you, Gracie, sorry.)  I chose a colorful thread, as is tradition when repairing stuffies... but the red thread along his neck may have been a questionable choice, in hindsight. Tongue Tied

I took my neighbor's dog to the vet to be neutered today.  The neighbor doesn't know it & I'm sure won't approve but I'm sick of driving through the neighborhood & seeing the dog out humping everything in sight.  I'm also sick of him digging into my yard to try to start a fight or to chase horses.  If the neuter will keep him home, then I'll be thrilled.  If not, & I catch him chasing my horses again, then I'm going to handle it in a more permanent fashion.

I am tired, & not very chattery today.  I'm also annoyed that my 2 month old phone has decided to quit working.

My bird, Strawberry, died over the weekend Crying We were away for the weekend and found her last night dead in her cage.  I loved that little bird.  She was a society (or bengalese) finch.  She came out of the nest hand tame.  I'm sure she has some sort of neurological problem that made her that way, but we kept her in a cage upstairs with us as our pet.  She would play with Sally Bunny and Sadie and she was very cuddly.  FH would sing to her and she would flit her litttle butt at him.  I'm going to miss that little bird.  She wasn't sick, so she didn't suffer.  FH thinks it's probably old age she died from - although 4 doens't seem that old to me!

    I am sad today.

I sympathize too. We live in a cul de sac and we're the first house on the corner. Rather than drive into the circular part of the cul de sac, most people would make u-turns at the narrow part and end up on our lawn. We'd find huge ruts in the grass and when it was rainy, it was the worst. DH had to fill in with dirt and try to patch it up over and over. We finally put large, decorative river rocks along the front and it completely ended the problem.

Vet doesn't know the specifics.  He knows that the dog keeps showing up at my house.  He also knows that if it's four legged, & at my house, then it is required to be without testicles.  He's going to board at the vet's until Monday, which will work perfectly because his owner doesn't worry about looking for him before he's been missing for at least a week.

I'm sorry about the birdy that passed on. I never had luck with birda or rabbits as pets. One day they would be fine and the next they would be dead. I never figured it out.

Hmmm, yes that can be translated to an ooohhhhhmmm. And probably should be. Work is very weird lately and my co-worker keeps having people call him on his cell while he's away from his desk so nobody can hear what he's talking about. Maybe he is looking for a new job! That would be a blessing.

I'm trying to finish up a report today but am getting writers block. I have my headphones on so conversations don't distract me but its equally hard to concentrate with eminem blasting in my ear. Maybe I need some "earthy" music instead with no singing.
