Found out today our company got approved for the Visa program we applied for.  Woot!!  It has been an insane process just to get approved for the program, I shudder to think how it's going to be for the people actually trying to get the Visas.  But I almost did a dance when I got the letter in the mail!  All that work paid off, finally!!

Hi everyone, haven't been around as much since I'm taking the most incredibly crazy grad class right now... and it's an elective. Ugh.  But, it's the only thing that would fit. Bah.  But even if I don't post as much, I try to keep up with the daily MC

Waiting for DH to come pick me up.... I'm hungry!  Didn't really get to eat lunch and that makes me crabby, so we'll probably just stop for something on the way home.  No need to take out my crabbiness on the hubby when it's not called for, right?

Oh and Bugsy did some more zooming this evening.  His face tells a thousand words when he is doing it.  He has bursts and then he stops and looks at me with an ear to ear grin and his eyes are on fire.  It makes me joyous

OK, glad to know I'm not the only one wondering what the heck is going on.

Thankfully, I've survived another Monday.  Barely.

 Since it seems noone read my post on the weekend MC I'll say it again. While I was gone to Cali for a family emergency JJ had to take care of the dogs. He got attached to Zeeva and told me he wanted to keep her. Most of you all should know by now he is not a big dog person and he loved Joker to death. Losing Joker hurt JJ as much as it did me. So she's staying as his dog.

 Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you rehome another aussie because you weren't the right home for her. Splash, right?

I believe this is the second time JJ decided he wanted to keep her.  That's where some of the confusion is coming from. 

Wasn't she already promised to someone?  Or am I thinking of another pup?

 No, Glenda your thinking of the same pup. I believe Susan aka 3girls was promised Zeeva.

 I am actually applying for financial aid now. I am finally old enough not to have to count my parent's income. My own income is pretty low, so I will probably get some money I think.

Also, I am getting the new car. Not picking it up till Friday, but the deal is done. Or maybe I will pick it up earlier. 

Today was kind of stressful at work. I have been noticing a lot of brown nosing and whispering going on around me and when that happens *** usually hits the fan. There is a very weird dynamic/vibe right now and the last time this kind of stuff went on, I was right to be worried. I'm just trying to keep my head low so I'm not a target, but that probably won't make a difference. We'll see.

Whoo! Financial aide is pretty great - I have a 75% state scholarship, but I also get a good amount of $ back because I am eligible for Pell Grants, and also some state grant $. I totally don't understand why they base it from your parents - my mom makes NO money, and I haven't lived with her or received any monetary support from her since I started college. So, why does it matter what kind of money she makes?! If I remember correctly you are in grad school, do you still have to do the FAFSA? If you do, drink a glass of wine first. It doesn't make it any less confusing, it only helps you care less about how confused you are, LOL.

I bathed both dogs tonight, and they are thoroughly upset with me. It was so hilarious, poor Pirate was zooming around the coffee table, and Tiki was just standing there - he bodyslammed her and she told him, in no uncertain terms, that she didn't appreciate it. Little mama's boy came right to me, putting on the dramatic 'SHEEEEEE HURT MEEEEEEEEE' show.
