I missed this and am in total shock right now.  I cannot believe this has happened. It's horrifying.  IS hold a special place in my heart and Lillie was a gorgeous girl - I loved seeing her pic here.  I'm so, so sorry for your loss.

All our best wishes that Joker recovers quickly and thoroughly, and that Cheyenne was caught fast enough to resolve this, if she ingested it, too.  Is Kujo ok?  I'm so sorry that the dogs have suffered at all, and I can only imagine how you'll feel when this all hits you.  You have so much painful stuff in your life right now.

Rest in peace, beautiful Lillie... you will be missed.

I missed it too! I'm in shock, I dont even know what to say. Except that Lillie was a very beautiful girl and will have a great time in doggie heaven. She deserves it.

Cheyanne, Joker stay stong!!!! *all the healing vibes I can spare for them coming your way*

    I'm so sorry Kim!

Any progress made today, Kim?  I hope everyone is doing well.

Just looking for an update.  Nothing?  Kim, I hope you're just really busy and things aren't getting worse.  I'm gonna light a candle too.

Ok Joker is still with us. Peeing and drinking like crazy. His pee is clear not yellow and definitely not that horrible dark yellow it had been. He's still dehydrated even with all the water and IV. He's got ulcers in his mouth now. Their not bad and not getting any worse. He's still eating too so that's a good sign. The vet has sent off more bloodwork and we should know how his kidneys are doing tomorrow.

As for Cheyanne her glucose was low. She is being kept an eye on for diabetes. Not antifreeze!

Never thought I'd be happy to see the word Diabetes, but I was.  At least that's not a death sentance.  I'll continue to send Joker my thoughts and prayers for continued improvement.  Thanks for the update Kim.  Still thinking of you too...

Spiritdogs is on a bit of a vacation, but she asked me to pass along her hugs and healing vibes, as well as her sadness at your loss.  She said to pm her anytime at all.

I'm glad things are starting to look up a bit.  I'm sure Anne will be too.

Kim, I'm so glad that things are holding steady for Joker, & that it doesn't look as if Cheyenne has gotten into the antifreeze.

    • Gold Top Dog

Phew, glad to hear the update. Sending good thoughts for both of them.

    • Gold Top Dog

Me too...continued good thoughts for you and yours Kim.

    You can do it Joker!

Kim we are thinking of you here as well.

This is good news!  Glad to hear things are not getting worse!  That means the chances for getting better are greater!

I'm so sorry to read this. Is there any chance that someone is trying to poison your dogs? I hate to mention it, but it happened to a dog in my old neighborhood - it was deliberate. They put out antifreeze into an area they new the dog would get to.

I hope Joker continues to mend and pulls through this.

I found the antifreeze. Antifreeze drenched deer skin more exact. Joker took me to it. Apparently the deer hunters were having a problem with the coyotes out here and thought of a genius way of solving the problem. And Cheyanne brought it home. Guess when I say "let the dogs out to potty and that's it" means "let the dogs out and back in when you feel like it."

So Cheyanne got more bloodwork done and her kidneys shows signs of failing. Joker is barely getting any pee out now so I dont think it's good news for him.

Thanks guys for being there for me. I'll post more when I know more or if something changes.

Kim, I've been following the thread and I'm so sorry to read about all the heartache you are going through.

Still praying for Joker and Cheyanne.

I hope you will call the sheriff/police and report this. This needs to be reported so that they can hopefully warn other pet owners. And hopefully find and arrest the jerks responsible!

    Hugs!
