I want to order something from Dog.com, and it says they ship to Canada, but it won't let me enter a Canadian address...I'm frustrated!  I don't want to pick a state!  I don't live in a state!  Geographically, I'm closest to Minnesota, but I don't live there!  And I don't have a Zip Code!  I have a Postal Code, but a postal code has 6 letters and numbers and a Zip has 5 numbers.  So they don't fit, and it just tells me I'm wrong.  I'm not wrong!  You're Stupid!  ***shakes fist at Dog.com***

LOL - isn't there a customer service email or ph #? Yeah, that kind of stuff frustrates me too. Give 'em heck!!!

Candace, I'm pretty sure that I'd love Onyx. She sounds "special."

GeorgeAnne, can I come over for a visit? I really want to play in the snow.

Cathy, good luck with the dinner tonight!

Callie, I'm glad that the traumeel is helping.

I had an interesting day. Cher & I went to our first puppy class, & I must say that she was awesome. All of the activity around her didn't phase her, & her ability to focus is nothing short of amazing.

Afterwards, we stopped to get something to eat. Bev, & Brutus had also came along to hang out at the training center during class, so they were with us as well. On the walk up to the restuarant patio, a homeless guy said something nice about Bev. The guy seemed harmless, so I invited him to join us for lunch. Any time Bev & Bru are with me, I feel very confident that everything will be fine. Lunch was nice. The man was well spoken, not mentally ill, & obviously not a junkie. After talking with him, I found that he had just had a run of bad luck that left him jobless, & homeless. I am hoping to help find him a job. I know of a few people who are hiring, so maybe I can call in a favor.

Later, we went ice skating. Poor DH can't skate, so he ended up hanging on to the side of the rink the entire time. The kids, & I had a great time though. I rolled an ankle last weekend, & it was only slightly swollen before we started skating. Now, it's about double it's normal size again. Oh well, it was worth it!

Tonight, the kids are at their grandma's for the night. DH & I were supposed to be hanging out, but he's pissed at me for taking the guy to lunch, so he decided to go to poker night with the guys instead. I'm rather annoyed with him right now, but that's life.

    *speechless....*

Amanda,  you seem to like the "speshull" case type dogs, so Onyx would probably fit right in.  My neighbor says she reminds her of an autistic child that she knows.  She sees the world differently, in that, she doesn't see what the rest of us see.  Any other dog would hit the end of the rope once or twice and remember it was there, but Onyx just runs for the joy of running, hits the end, spins around and sees another expanse to run.  I honestly believe that she was NOT trying to break her clip last night.  It was just a side effect, and it barely phased her.  She merely ran a few feet farther each way and came right back in when Crusher and I came in.  But I can hollar at her for grabbing something off the counter and she'll cower all the way around the kitchen island until she sees me again and then she's excited to see me, like we've been apart for ages!  Oh Hi Mom!  You know who she reminds me of?  Dori!  You know, Ellen's character on Finding Nemo?  That's totally her!

The play tonight was great! Even though I'm a little young for the rat pack, I totally understand why all the women loved them. I wish I had a man who could sing to me like that! Whew! *fans self*

Before I left tonight, I set a garbage bag on my side step so I wouldnt forget to put it in the trash. Well, guess what! I forgot. So when I pulled in the driveway tonight there was a little visitor getting a free meal. Mr. Possum slinked away when he noticed me, but he only went and hid under my front porch. Ew.

I'm just now looking down at my carpet and realizing that I haven't. Vacuumed in a week. Bad. Very bad!

DW and I met today, 16 years ago. 12-19-93. She's working until midnight.

My friend, John, also has a birthday today. His dad recently killed and butchered a wild sow. I smoked a big ham from that today and brought him some. Plus, I've got plenty of deer meat in the freezer from him and his dad. John loves the way I smoke and grill meat. And he's a picky eater. So, yes, I am that good.

I need to retire from electrical stuff, open a barbecue restaurant. Then, get my own show on the Food Channel. I do love to smoke and grill. The trick is "less is more" when it comes to seasoning. Other tricks include plenty of smoky wood and moisture. Other than that, leave it alone.
