We've not had internet for three days, the horrors! Getting anyone to come out and do anything was a treat. It was fine the night before, but not the next day. So I was fairly certain it was an outside issue. But, I dutifully did everything the tech guy said. Then, when that didn't work, they said they'd send someone out. But, not without someone being home. We both work..how do they think I pay the cable bill anyway? So I asked if they could just send someone to look at the lines outside and then schedule a home check if they couldn't find anything. But they said no
So, I scheduled it for between 8 and 9 this morning. Get up bright and early on my day off to have no one show up in that time frame. At about 11 I called and was told they switched it to an all day call...well thank you for telling me so that I might be able to leave the house.
Turns out it was a problem with the lines on the pole down the street, we had no signal at all coming to our house.
