Now, if you want to see EARS... Henry has the weirdest ones.  They're like over-sized floppy Papillon ears with long tendrils.  (He's also got brindling to his coat, pantaloon legs when viewed from behind, and ticking-type spots on his legs.  I should start a guess-his-breeds thread on him.  PS, his deformed front leg is a result of an injury as a puppy.  He's the poster-child for monitoring your puppy's play time and not over-exercising.  Sister's vet in Belgium opted to leave it alone until absolutely necessary.)

Here's an odd collection of upright ears (again, forgive the flash - their colors and eyeballs are totally crappy.)

without flash, blurry, but better color.

Oh, I love Henry's ears!  Not as much as Gracie's but still...

Henry's leg looks very much like Chyna's did before her surgeries.  Did he break down the support structures in that leg?  (Carpus)

You know, I get the explanation from my sister, and it doesn't make enough sense to me, so this is how my brain has interpreted it... Something happened that caused one of the bones to stop growing while the other one kept growing.... and I seem to have the impression that one fused to the other...?  Hence, they'd have to break the bones, reset them with pins or plates or something.  Or maybe they would surgically fuse one to the other?? Huh?  All the vets since have agreed that waiting until he's in pain/unable to use it is the best option, rather than initiating the surgeries now.  Sadly, though, in the time I've been here, I think I can see his other front leg compensating even more,by twisting, too, to support his weight or stance.  Poor Hen-weenie....aka, Weenie.

Oh, and it looks MUCH worse from this angle, looking down, but it's def an issue and very noticable when viewed straight on.

And that's Patrick in the back - with his previously-shaved backside which is growing back in really fast since his surgery.  My sister got each of them as puppies in shelters, so there's no clue about breeds, although we say Henry is a BC mix, and Patrick an Akita mix, but... the brindling on both is odd.  My sister saw Henry's littermates, and says they were all brown.  He looks black/dark brown with his brindling.
