Monday monday...

    Monday monday...

ok, I'm off to an energized start today. ADHD meds, coffee and a diet coke. Gonna give myself a stroke or something. however, I should get a lot done today, which is what I need to do.

SS stuff is all packaged. Now, I just need to make it to the PO. That's the hardest part ;p Maybe I should just UPS it and have them pick it up here at work.

I forgot how much I loved Christmas lights and my little tree. It has such a calming effect on my house. I love it! I left the lights on all night.

Lily insisted that I get up and let her out this morning at 6am. I was shooing her away because I get up at 7, and if I get up at 6 - forget it. I might as well stay up. But, instead of going to find a hidden spot to go to the bathroom in the house, she kept nagging me until I relented. Good dog! I need to get better about listening to her. Especially when she does stuff like that. Her house training is so fragile.

SAR training tonight. yay. I think we need to find different parks to start training at now. The ones we are at with the girl scouts are too easy. We need more woody areas.

There's a blizzard on the horizon, I guess. I'm looking forward to a lot of snow! We will probably only get ice though. That's usually how it works.

whew feeling better this morning but still very weak.  DH is still his dramatic self with it all.  Must keep my mouth shut or what comes out will not be nice!

Bugsy was really good yesterday as he was just in his room all day - neither of us was in any shape to take him in and out.

I am really really excited to say that this morning if you didn't know he had a TPLO you wouldn't be able to guess.  He is walking amazingly well.  Amazingly well.  As we were wandering the yard I told him we needed to stay calm and controlled for a few more weeks, he'd being doing great so hang on.  That was for both of us Smile  Seeing him move so well it would be easy to relax

Looks like we have more rain in the forecast.  This fall has been wretched.

    Glad you're feeling better Karen.

We had a rain/snow mixture on Saturday.  Since I had nowhere to go yesterday, I never scraped my car off, so this morning I had to sit in it freezing while the ice melted off.  Duh.

Mr. W took the day off  . . . . hopefully he'll take Jamison for a nice long walk while the sun is out.

Julie, be sure to take the addy for that SS package with you.  I'll be in and out most of the day and might not be here for an emergency blackberry transmission!!  LOL!

Karen, glad you're starting to feel better.

I need to go out today and cut back the freeze damaged plants in my garden.  They might come back if I do that.  Might not, but worth a try at least.  They are annuals, but still might recover.

I'd thought about going out and turning the heat off in the RV.  We set it on 50 when the weather got so cold so that the pipes didn't freeze.  I suppose now that hurricane season is over we could winterize it, but, I honestly am still not sure that's absolutely needed here.  I'm kind of thinking maybe I'll just leave the heat on for now.  It's set so low it won't come on often and use up a lot of propane or electricity.  And I'm dreadful about remembering to turn it on when it could be needed.  It feels much warmer already this morning so maybe we're done with the unseasonably cold weather for now?  Sure hope so.

Really need to get moving.  Need a big foot giving me a kick in the rear to get me jump started......

Karen, glad you're feeling a bit better, and its great to hear that Bugsy is looking good!

Good Luck with the annuals Glenda.

We were off to a good start this morning.  At least until I entered the kitchen and the force field around the computer sucked me in.  I need to have a shower still, and apparently if the computer gets wet, its not such a good thing.

I'm so excited!  My Old Navy stuff is in and Griffinej5 is gonna send it out to me!  ***dances***  I can't wait till it gets here!

I procrastinated about getting Kelci a carseat this weekend.  There were 2 that I thought about ordering, but one was from Sears and the delivery date is not till January 7th, over a month and she needs it now.  The other was from ToysR Us and would have been here in a few days, but I wasn't in love with it.  However last night late, I flipped through the flyers and found one at Canadian Tire for 60% off.  So 99.99 for a pretty decent Eddie Bauer one.  Yay!  I'm gonna go pick it up after work, hopefully I can get it and get it installed before I pick up the girls from Daycare.

We got snow last night!! I've lived in this area since 1987 and have never seen snow here. It's only a couple inches here, but just a little ways up the hill they have a lot more and it's still coming down. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have trouble getting in to work so I can't really take a snow day Sad

USPS does pick ups too, at least in my area.

BF drowned himself in cologne this morning and brought back my migraine - I was on Hour 72 but now it seems like it's going to hang on another day. Awesome. I'm wondering if this stupid wisdom tooth coming in is what's triggering them - I think I read that somewhere. I wish I had the $2000 to have them taken out.

I really have to get this lesson plan typed up today, ugh. I want to go for a run too but it's cloudy and gray outside and my head is pounding. I've got less than a month to the 5K I'm signed up for though so I need to get my butt in gear.

Karen, I'm glad that you are feeling better!

My house is a madhouse!  The kids are waaay to excited about Christmas.  My inlaws are here. which isn't a bad thing, but MIL wants to help way too badly.  This morning, she was cooking breakfast & trying to clean my already clean house.  We are also keeping Cher's brother-to-be, Bohdi.  He's a sweet boy, but he's used to being an only dog, & he seems to think that when he's with my guys he should play constantly.  We had a six dog game of chase through my house this morning. Indifferent

I was almost thankful to come to work, just so that I could have a little peace & quiet.

Wiiiiii    I am having fun so far on the Wii Fit Plus.  OK, so its only been a few days.  But, I've been breaking a sweat, I tell ya.  I've been jogging, I've been hula hooping; I've been Stepping.  30 minute sessions will be my goal.  In the morning, then another session in the evening.  If I can keep this up and watch what I eat....I might just shed a few pounds.  Or, even better....start feeling better in my clothes.

This is going to benefit the dogs as well.  When we were out this morning....I jogged for the most part.  So, that was an additional 15 minutes of aerobic exercise.

Karen, so glad you are feeling a bit better; and even more happy that Bugsy is getting used to his "slowed down" routine.

Megan, I too have heard that wisdom teeth can trigger migranes.  Maybe you can strive towards getting those out in the coming year.

Bruder seems to be feeling better.  He didn't yelp when I put his ear solution in yesterday.  And, he is not shaking his head as much.  10 days worth of antibiotics and ear solution.  I've been giving him probiotics too...he loves it!

Karen, I'm so glad you are feeling better this morning.  Can't help with the moaning hubby but I sure know what that's like and I don't handle it well either.  I'm so happy to hear how well B is walking and I will keep you in my thoughts for more healing and no zoomies from the Beast Who Zoomed Too Much. lol

I can't believe how busy I am at work.  Sheesh, this should be our slow time of year.  Well, better busy than the alternative.

I will gladly relieve you of three. Just in spirit of helping you see. So please send Bevo, Shooter  and Schatzi my way.

Someone smack me... I've filled out an application to foster for another rescue... They have the most adorable golden aussie/lab puppy that needs a foster home.  I had to tell DH, at least this'll put off me getting my own aussie for a little while...

Who here knew that oil furnaces needed to get check-ups yearly?? That explains why my heat isn't working.. the pipes filled with sludge. The repairman is still here, DH is dealing with it...

I am just freaking out a bit here. I have an oral exam on Wednesday, but I don't think it has to do with that. I have no clue how I did in my class though. I don't feel good about it. I think I'm gonna go and get some sort of caffeinated drink in a bit ( holy crap, it's 12, I have to leave soon) because that will help me calm down a bit.

Griff, I have been in freak-out mode all weekend, and I'm more than likely gettting A's in all of my classes. Finals week just does that to me.

I so wish I could have my wisdom teeth out. I might suck it up and go get the consult with an oral surgeon, just so I can see, ballpark, how much it will cost with no insurance. If I could convince BF to get married, I could get his insurance, and it's AWESOME. He says that marrying someone for health insurance isn't right. Pfff.

I did go run, and now I'm craving PB. I don't have any bread or crackers so I'm eating it off the knife, LOL.

Most dentist offices have a credit plan you can apply for. You might want to look into that!!

It's Care Credit that you're thinking of, more than likely. We had it for Pirate when he was sick (vet's offices take it, too) and it's maxxed out, ROFL. I hate being in college, sometimes. I can't work full time, so no insurance that way. I'm not eligible for any low-income insurance plans because I'm a college student. I can't afford the insurance my school offers because I work part-time. Vicious cycle!
