Tuesday, mindless Tuesday

Candace, no, it's not because it's in the same year. She's doing it at the county court house, so really, no cost to me. Apparently, they decided they should do this on January 11th. Why? Because they both want to do it before their next birthdays. You know, she'll be 26, and only lonely old cat ladies aren't married by 26. Those are her words, not mine. Maybe it'll work out just fine, I mean, I make major life decisions impulsively, and they work out great. However, I only make decisions that effect my own life, and do not involve others. And certainly not things that I am supposed to have for the rest of my life. Apparently, I am invited, but she doesn't think I'll come. She is so very right.

That's funny that they called you. I guess it's better though that they do make sure everything is straight, and someone isn't ripping off your credit card. Though honestly, if I were going to, I certainly wouldn't have given your correct phone number on the info. I'll let you know when it shows up here.

OMGosh...ok, that is enough crying for tonight.  Poor Chelsea.  My heart breaks for her.  Run Free Cherokee, and may your namesake do you proud.

I feel exhausted now, I sobbed through that entire thread.  Onyx is worried about me, she keeps coming over to stick her head in my lap.

Oh, Onyx is a sweetie!  Bevo gets upset when I cry.  He snuggles up with me for a while to try to make me feel better.  If that doesn't work, then he starts doing silly things.  Recently, his favorite silly things involve blowing bubbles in his water bucket, or standing up on his hind legs, & putting his front feet on my bar.  Speaking of silly...he has decided that he doesn't like Cher's crate in the living room, so he has been trying to drag it, with her in it, into the dining room. Hmm

Jen, sometimes spur of the moment marriages work out.  DH & I married on 4 days notice after dating exclusively for 4 months.  I had only known him for 7 months total.  We've been married for 19 months, & there hasn't been a single time that I've questioned my decision to marry him.  Maybe, it will be the same way for your sister.

I am seriously considering setting up a bank account to attempt to scam a scammer.  Mr. Raheem Mubarak Ali seems like a very nice guy in his email to me, & I am sure that I should be ashamed of myself for trying to think of a way to take his 11 million dollars, but I'm not.  It would be so helpful to speak with someone who has actually been scammed before.  I really think that their story would help me make this go right.

On a much lighter note, I had trouble eating my dinner because Tempo kept flying at the fork every time it moved. . .that is all Sleep

Amanda, did you see the story Dateline did on this?  Chris Hanson went and actually met the guy and everything.

Gracie has taken to doing this lately, too!  Tonight, however, she's insisting on full attention every time my hands leave her so I can type another word, she throws her face in front of the computer and stares at me, craning her neck around to block my view so that all I see is her.  I love her.... and I keep looking at her and getting teary thinking about what Chelsea is feeling right now.

I've never gone thru it before but I can't imagine it being anything other than unbearable.  I think I'll probably need meds to get thru it.  I mean, I could barely watch Marley and Me.

Umm... they have known each other about 3 weeks I believe. Now, my parents got married quickly too, and they are still married, but honestly, I don't think two people could hate each other or argue more. I mean, I remind them when they argue and bitch about each other that they are the ones who chose to get married, and they are the ones who choose to stay married.  I also don't hide the fact that I believe a part of my refusal to even be in any relationship is that my example was piss poor.

I haven't seen it, but I'm off to search for it now!

Paige, Bevo does the annoying "let me get in the way of the computer" bit as well.  I use my laptop, so I'm usually hanging out on the couch in the evenings.  Bev & Bru insist on sitting with me, which is no big deal, but some days, ermm most days, Bev is needy.  If I take "his" hand away to type, he lays his head across the keyboard so that he can get his hand back.

It is still pouring rain outside.  I really want to go to bed, but that would force me to take the puppy, who is sleeping in my lap, outside one last time before bed.  I'm not sure that I'm prepared for the cold wind, & rain just yet.

Uuuhhm, the high today and tomorrow will be 18, m'kay?  Walking to work through snow drifts and icy parking lots sucks, too.

Paige, you really ought to consider CA for your next relocation.  The weather more than makes up for the constant possibility of an earthquake, but unless you're living close to a major faultline, that won't be  much of a problem either. Anytime you get a craving to walk through snow, the mountains are just a short drive away. Big Smile
