TGIF!! Mindless

 Noooo doubt!

It is raining again today! We have had 1 day, ONE! day in the last month without rain. Yesterday was a nice day though. Perfect for being outside in the woods with the dogs. 

My new SAR mentor is very excited to work with Neiko. He said that Neiko is screaming through training and thinks he (the trainer) hit the jackpot with Neiko and my bosses dog, Mischa. My theory is that both dogs have working experience (Neiko with herding and therapy and Mischa as a bird dog) so the training and bond we have is carrying over. When we first started the SAR folks were very against these dogs doing anything other than SAR, but we are out to prove to them that working dogs can be trained in more than one thing.:)

My house is a disaster. At least the yard is de-poopified though. I paid $20 for that yesterday. Well worth the money imo! Especially since the yard is a muddy disgusting mess from all this rain!

My kitty didn't come home last night. Yes, I have an indoor/outdoor cat. I know some people hate me for it but I have my own opinions on it. Anyway, he never misses a meal and always comes when I call him. I'm hoping he is just hiding out from the rain. Or, he found another family that doesn't have 4 dogs :)

OK - so I need everyone's help.

I really can't make myself look at or touch a computer from about 2 p.m. on Friday till about 8 a.m. on Monday.

But, I really need you guys to say a little prayer and keep an eye on Jackie G.  Because if she manages to complete all 26 elements of the 'evil plan', she WILL have the best Halloween ever, however there could be physical and pyschological ramifications for weeks to come.

So somebody make sure she checks in on Sunday  . . . and see if she's coherent enough to know her name and who the current President is.

She's here!!! She's sweet & snuggly, albeit shy. I am so glad that I kept my mouth shut last night! Lola is curled up on my feet right now.

Yay!!! Lucky girl!  I know she's not staying with you but she's hit the foster jackpot.  Thank you for keeping your mouth shut & taking care of her.  I know it's hard to just shut up when you see total stupidity but in this case a greater good was served by doing just that.  Thanks!!!  So where are the pictures of this lucky girl?? :)

Deb, DH asked me yesterday if we had any plans for the weekend.     Bwahahahahahaha! 

Amanda, I know how hard some rescues can be to work with but I'm so glad that you let the puppy be your priority.  Can't wait to see some pic's!

Busy day and I hope to get off early today........

Ah, finally Friday!  I have about 5 or 6 hours of work to do today and tomorrow will have to voicetrack SEVEN freaking hours for Sunday morning.  Sunday is typically my long shift, but with the time change, that adds an additional hour.

Guys, I hate this.  I suspect that I sound like sh*t and I really don't like doing things that I can only do half arsed.  I have this hormonal thing or whatever that drives me to be the best at whatever I do, and good enough just isn't for me.  This is absolutely not a career path I would choose for myself.  This is doing what needs to be done.  However, I absolutely hate not being great and it's a huge kick in the behind to have to keep doing it every day.  Plus, it cuts into my selling time in a big way.  There doesn't seem to be enough of me to go around......

I need to really win the lottery......

Julie I hope your cat comes home, is that the black and white one?  Mine are indoors, but that doesn't stop Beckham from sneaking out and spending a night outside from time to time.

My day started with DH elbow-punching my eye socket.  I'm just glad I don't have a shiner....

It finally quit raining here, I think, I can see blue  skys and white clouds, Wooohoooo!  Now it is getting cold again, yuck!  My fibro has been going nuts in the last few weeks..... Is it spring yet?

I dont know what Jackie G is up to this weekend but what ever it is, sounds like fun!!!!!!  We are supposed to go to a  "Ball-o-ween party with dancing and entertainment tomorrow.  Hubby has been not "feeling good" since Wed, so dont know if we will get to go dancing...pooh...we live too far out for Ghosts and goblins to drop in.... guess we will just watch, Americas Most Wanted like we do most Sat. nights.

I'm sick of rain. I am hoping to get some gardening done this weekend and get the gardens ready for winter...hopefully it doesn't rain the ENTIRE weekend.

Yes, I have an indoor/outdoor cat. I know some people hate me for it but I have my own opinions on it.

No judgements here - our cats all my life have been that way, and they all lived into double digits - 22+ (Pumpkin, the best cat who ever lived), 14 (Orca), and Shadow is at least 15 right now.

Warmer today - funny how 35 degrees with no wind or falling snow feels good after snow storm over the past two days. 

I have no plans for tonight, Halloween.  I know a friend from HS will be in town visiting a friend of hers, so I might try to find them downtown...  think I could pull off an "Octomom" costume pretty fast, if needed.  We shall see...

 Now we're supposed to close next Friday.  I'll be glad when its done.  All this waiting makes me anxious.

Trick or treating was kinda fun, pics are in the photos section.  Blaze can't walk that far so she didn't go, but she's got a costume that I'll put on her tomorrow for a couple pics, then she can take it back off.

Poker tomorrow night at my Dad's.  Its so nice to be invited to things again :o)

Can I go home yet?  I'm so done w/ this week.

Amanda, I'm glad you were able to go get the dog, even if you did have to go through a lot of senseless BS to do it.

Julie, sending you good thoughts that your cat comes home soon.  We lived up the hill from my grandfathers barn when I was little and he always had barn cats, so I was used to cats being outside, but they never stuck around more than a few years, I guess that's why *for me* the idea of an outside cat wouldn't work.  But for those that do it, you won't get any flaming from me.
