    MC Humpday

So very tired today. Apparently my dogs have decided that the best place to sleep is across my pillow on my head. So at any given moment last night I was pushing a different dog off the bed. I got no sleep. At. All.

One more thing - can it stop raining for 2 days straight? Because I don't think it can.

    *grouchy*

^^^ reason why I don't allow dogs on my bed...

Agnes made it through the whole night w/out peeing her bed or getting up!!!  She really had to go at 5:00a though.

Dawn, the quilt is beautiful!  I am not a person who sews, but am in awe of the work others can do!

Karen, I am sorry you & DH are going through such loss in the family, seemingly all at once.  (((Hugs))) for strength.

Glenda, do you have a Jen update?

I'm still up to my eyeballs in work.

    • Gold Top Dog

Jewels, you need to lock them out, your sleep is important!

Thank you Tina. It is my first large quilt try and I am proud of it.

Karen, here are some more {{{hugs}}}, and I will be thinking of you.

I too am buried in work. End of the month bites, well so does the beginning, the middle.....

I can't wait for Sunday's daylight savings time change.  I totally hate getting up in the pitch black.

Dawn - that quilt is magnificent !!!  Can you make me one in different shades of brown ???

Way to go on the no peeing on the bed Aggie !!!!  Scritches and smoochies for you !!!

Tina - you're working way too hard lately.  We need to hook up for some chocolate vodka shots !!!

    Karen - hang in there  . . . . . (((hugs))).

Don't I know it!  Would be fun to get together, though I have to tell you, I couldn't hold a candle to your *skills*.  Surprise  I'm a lightweight, though I sometimes lose my clothes if I partake of too many adult beverages.  Should I admit that publicly?

There's no shame in that, Tina.  We've all been there.

Thanks everyone - MIL passed away early this morning.  No details yet so no plans for us yet.  Lots of things spinning in my head.  I head back to Raleigh tonight so that is good.  DH was OK and said it was very peaceful.

I am sure have a lot of catching up to do on here so I'll just say I hope everyone is OK.  I see Deb is keeping the mood light LOL

I do appreciate having this place to share - thanks again Left Hug

Two? It's been raining since September here!  Today and tomorrow are supposed to finally be "clear" (as in, still gray and cloudy but NOT raining all day).

Does it make me a doody-head if I don't order school fundraiser crap from one of my co-workers (who brings it in for her kids)?  She has two kids, has hit all of us up for the past 4 or 5 years.  This time it is cookie dough, which I bought 2 years ago, but threw all of the baked cookies out because the shortening in them was hydrogenated coconut oil and they were horribly greasy and gross.  It didn't matter how long I baked them, they never really got hard.  I ate one and was sick from it.

My office is small, there are only 6 of us and everyone else has ordered.  It's not even something I could comfortably give as a gift.  Opinions?

PS: when my son was school aged, I never sold his stuff for him; he had to do it (not alone, with me).  It's been a sore spot with me forever, aside from feeling obligated to buy stuff that is crap and I won't use.

Karen, I'm so sorry.  My thoughts are with your family.

I don't want to get moving today.  I'm seriously considering going back to bed for a bit.

    • Gold Top Dog

    Karen, I'm so sorry for your DH's loss and send prayers for all of the family.  {{Hugs}}

I don't want to be here today.  Twister threw up both his meals yesterday and he has a big abcess from his rattlesnake vaccine he received last week. :(  He seems to feel ok but I'm keeping a close eye on my little terror today.

Julie, that's my I only let the small dogs on the bed at night.

Yay Agnes!!!  I'm so proud of you.  Tell your mom that we need more pix of you.

Karen, the only thing I can say is that you & DH are in my thoughts.  ((warmest hugs))

My feet are finally touching the ground after a fantastic weekend with some ladies in my Pap rescue group.  Aspen was wondering why he was there.  He's not a dog.   I'll post some lame pictures in photos.

That's discrimination. Poor Grady. He can come live with me and snuggle with us in bed. Sleep

    • Gold Top Dog

Awww, Grady has it so good.  He had a bed that's almost as thick as our bed.  He loves his bed/cave.
