Do you let your dog lick you in the face?

 Thinking about it, I don't even let my lawfully wedded husband lick my face.  Yukky!

As to face licking yes I allow it but DH loves it - he & Bugs have won two best canine kisser awards.

That sounds like my BF and Harry.

Sammy is a licking extraordinaire.  He will lick any exposed skin, but doesn't get too up in your face.  He prefers arms, hands, legs, etc.

Harry, on the other hand, will literally try and smother you with kisses.  I think it's cute, but you have to be careful to keep your mouth closed tight!  LOL.

One of my friends was over one day and laughing as Harry was trying to lick her face, but kept saying, "Don't lick off my makeup!" LOL.  So Harry relented to neck kisses for her.  Both dog and human were happy.

I love doggy kisses unless they just ate something gross.

Brownie will lick on the hands/arms occasionally but thats about it. Cuddles, isnt much of a licker. Lion, will lick you when he's very excited or very happy. Other than that my dogs arent really lickers.

No problem at all...... don't even care when other dogs lick my face...although I do try to move so they don't get my mouth..... and I HATE it when that lick goes up my nose, or an occsional in my mouth. 

Gibby is a licker at times,,,usually a quick little lick or two on my face...IF you can call anything that a Dane does little...lol!   Now...he will find a spot on my arm or hand once in a while and doesn't stop licking it.....that bothers me for some reason. And I absolutely will not let him lick my feet....GROSS!

Spip is a thorough licker but sticks to feet, ankles, hands and forearms. I am the major lickee, DH stays mainly dry. One funny thing is that she licks afters meals and after we change the water. Her way to say thank you ? Flem rarely licks.  Neither is attracted to face licking; I can count on my fingers the numbers of cheek/nose kisses in 7 years which is fine with me. I did not mind when it happened but can do without.

 Bevo, come on over to Georgia! Bean has been wanting a Doberman, and I love Doberkisses. Tripe breath is ok, mine usually have it, too. No kissing til the stink recedes

I LOVE it when one of my pups licks my feet - I am a stickler about having clean feet, I never walk barefoot outside unless I'm at the beach, so my feet are always super clean, so I know they're not licking dirt. There's nothing grosser than yucky, dirty feet - eeeewwwwwww......

I used to beg my daughter to rub my feet when she was young and gullible enough to do it while we watched tv. Hee hee....

Yup! Unless they've been having, erm, *butt issues*, I get plenty smooches from Sofia. Ole never learned about social smooching. He's not a kisser. But Sofia is a sweet girl who, when she's REALLY happy to see me, also nibbles my chin.

Thor is not a every-five-minutes kisser, licker... but I do love to get his sloppy kisses when he wants to give them.

OTOH, when I finish to give him a bath, I kiss him inch by inch and hug him tight while drying

I am normally not a kissy person.  I have just altered that rule though, in order to entice Bevo up north...Come on Bev!  

Crusher and Onyx are also "Little lick to the cheek and that's it" kinda dogs.  Its nice.  

I don't mind puppy kisses at all. The only time I don't allow kisses is immediately after eating, as they eat a raw diet. But half hour passes, and I don`t much care anymore!! It`s just not something that`s ever bothered me. I don`t necessarily encourage it (okay, I lie....Gaci knows `kisses` on cue!!), but I don`t try to discourage it either. The only one I have to watch is Shimmer as she can get a little compulsive about licking if she`s feeling stressed.

Sadie - yes we both let her lick our face. She gives the cutest tiny kisses and she isn't all slobbery like Timmy. I think she might just be trying to see if we've left any dinner on there though. Darn beagle.

Timmy's favourite thing when he was a puppy was to save up a bunch of spit and then run over and give FH a kiss. Hence why I've never really let him lick my face. LOL. Timmy is like Bugsy - he WILL find a way to give company a kiss, he finds a way to sneak one in always - I do warn them, but they don't realize how sneaky a large dog is. hehehe.

No, but they'll sneak one in sometimes!  I never let them kiss my lips. Sorry, but that's just nasty IMO. It's like letting your dog lick your plate...gross, gross, gross.
