How long before I see mini weenies at the shelter??

I could go so many directions with this....

Seriously though, Tina, I can't believe how stupid some people are.

Glenda, go take a nap instead.  I always feel much more motivated after a nap.

I am plugging away, yet not really finishing anything.  Today is a take satan, I mean Shooter, to work day.  He went to visit when we got here this morning, & he's just made his way back to my office for his afternoon nap.  He's such a little turd.

Mwahahaha! Success!  No more clicky clicky from the smallish black dog!  Well, cept when she scrambles, and I think I'd have to likely pull her nails right out to get them to stop that...

    Just needed to share.

What a cruddy weekend it seems.

Luke had a stay at the e-vet Saturday night. No real clue as to what the heck that was. He had some vomitting, and diarhea that my mom thought looked like it had blood in it. So, I had just gotten to where I was working, and turned around and left to meet her over at the e-vet. $988 and about 30 hours later, I picked him up last night. He's doing fine, and we're lounging around until I have to work later. Also, I'm freezing my butt off.

HEY!!  I just saw Janet (janetmichel3009) over in the Intro thread!  HOOORAY!  (doing a little happy dance)  Been missing you, Janet!

I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's Saints game Devil Just wish I could have actually watched it, instead of just seeing the score updates, but it wasn't on the stations in this area.

Karen, I'm sorry to hear about your aunt and MIL.

Amanda, also saddened to hear about your DH's friend

    ((((hugs)))) for you both

I'm anxiously waiting to go home and open my swap package.

Argh.  I swear, my Catholic upbringing has created guilt monsters for the dumbest stuff!  I

LOL - same here. I'm sure your sister will understand though and since you don't remember leaving anything on, she can't technically blame you for it. You'd think a brand new car would be smart enough to turn everything off.

I waited all morning for Fed Ex to come pick up 17 boxes that need to go out. I finally decided that I was going to the gym and sure enough, the guy came while I was gone. Super Angry I hope he'll swing back by before the end of the day but I won't hold my breath.

It's drizzling outside and my hair looks like a total frizz ball - Embarrassed

I need to leave in fifteen minutes to take Twister for his Vet appointment but my coworker left to pull someone's truck out of the mud with his tractor.  Men will do anything to use their tractors.  He doesn't even like this guy who called.  Well, if he's not back in time, I'll put the phone on the answering service.

Karen, I am so sorry you are having to deal with so much heavy stuff right now.  I hope that you can find peace in all of it soon.  And Amanda had a good idea, leave your work and go take a walk.  It will still be there when you return, and I am sure your client's would understand given the circumstances.  I remember being in your shoes with my FIL when they had only given him a few days.  It will be hard to accomplish much of anything.

Amanda, sorry to hear about your DH's friend.  Suicide is such a difficult thing.  My cousin killed himself a few years ago and then my husband's cousin did the same a few years later.  It really is difficult to understand.  The hardest part for me to understand is how someone could be so desperate and hurt so much that they could do what they did to themselves.

My mother got a call from the Dr today that confirmed that her cancer has been caught early and has not spread.  She still has a long road ahead of her and will have chemo/radiation, but she shouldn't need any radical surgery.  I am so relieved.  I plan to go to the Dr with her this week as an extra set of ears to hear what they treatment plan will be.  I still don't want my mom to be going through this, but I do feel a little more hopeful.

On Friday I went and got my hair cut short, and they were doing the national breastcancer awareness month.  I made a donation and got a pink strip of hair that they bonded to mine.  I LOVE it!

Anyone who needs some cheering up, DON'T click THIS link to a video of Devin playing with Harley.  :)  It might make you smile when you hear all of the squealing.  I can't believe how big she is getting!

Wow, Karen, I'm so sorry this stuff is hitting you all at once.  I think you know it but I'll say it anyway.  You, your aunty, DH & MIL are all in my thoughts.  Please let me know if I can do anything.

Amanda, all I can say is ((HUGS)) to you & DH.  I'm just baffled why his friend decided to do what he did but that's not important now.  I'm so sorry for you guys.

Nothing else to report.  Just worried about my i-dog friends.

Oh, I was quite pleased to see the Saints humble the G-Men.  :)

    Bad day for Maghee.

    Bad day for Maghee.

Fingers crossed for a better day for Mags tomorrow!

I have found the silver lining to DH being upset.  He cooks.  A lot!  He made veggie lasagna, a pineapple upside down cake, three pies, brownies, & fudge.  I'm stuffed, & seriously considering another piece of fudge. Zip it!

Thanks ladies.  Cuddles delivered.  As I sit here & watch her struggle to breath I wonder how long can I keep her going?  How long is it fair to keep her going.  I know that her heart is getting weaker.  This IS the hard part about adopting an older girl.  I wouldn't give up the time we've had together for anything.

Amanda, I'd like some good brownies please. :)

Feel better soon, Maghee!  Poor baby.

Amanda, your DH sounds like "Kitty" on That 70s Show, when Red's mother passes away suddenly.

Gee, anyone want to "get better life" with eyebrow piercing? For crying out loud.... enough spam already.

My Working Retrieve handbook just arrived from Margot. WWWWOOOOHOOO!!!  I already have the dumbbells... could start tonight.... 'cept I need to do it away from the other two, which means outside.  It's already pitch black out.
