my BF has been doing well.  He went to 2 meetings last week & met up with his sponsor twice.  He seems to be happier not drinking - and way more productive ( he's doing the dishes!! LOL)

That's awesome to hear. He clearly knows what he needs to do and is doing it. I'm thrilled for you both.

thanks, I really felt like I was at my limit of both mental & physical stress last week!  It was really hard, hopefully after going through all of that everything will be a *little* easier now. I doubt it, but i want to think optimistically. lol. I think he's doing great though and hope he stays on track. I know he'll be saving alot of money not buying booze now!

oh this scared the crap outta me.  My BF has concluded that he got the sidecar all the way on it's side on his little 'trip' home from the bar that night, scrapes all along certain points on the left hand of the bike ( and the turn signal bent upwards)  & a scratch on his helmet ( thank god he was in auto-pilot enough to put his helmet on!).  I think seeing all of that really made him think 'wow, I was out of control'

Yeah, having evidence like that to see when you're sober has a good effect.  Thankgod he was able to put on his helmet. Smile

Take some good, clear pictures of the bike! - just in case you need to give him a reminder in the future!!  Keep a copy of the repair bill, too.
