Mindless Chatter - tues

It's 6pm and it's about 76 degrees right now - tomorrow will be 81.  Man I love this weather - I hope to goodness it makes up for the heat in the summer.  I weeded the backyard and trying to make plans for rehabbing the pond, but I think I should leave that up to BF.

BF took the day off and has been having a busy day getting all kinds of things done - updating his stereo is currently entertaining him.  Someone randomly drove by and asked the price of one of the vehicles he's selling - and bought it.  So that makes him happy... but it's been such a tease having him run in for a few seconds, then head out the door again...

Pirate is such a goof, though. It kaboomed, and he got up from his spot, stretched, and laid back down. ROFL

about a month after we got Bugs (guessing he was about 4-4.5 mos) we had a HUGE storm and it was lightning like a fireworks show and thundering like crazy.  He was just laying on the floor sleeping.  Then the mightiest thunder clap which literally shook the house and he opened his eyes looked at us and went straight back to sleep.  We were like guess there's a gun dog in there   In the summer if we get a good afternoon storm he likes to go outside in it and wander around - if you try to get him in he'll just look at you like what's your problem - weird dog I say

haha! Casey and Polly slept right through the entire thing.... I think most of it has passed us now. The lightning was something though! BF and I went down to the causeway to watch the waves roll in and wow. that lightning was lighting up the entire coast!
