Watery Poop...now slimy

I hope Bailey  get's too feeling better soon!!!

Okay so I reduced her feeding and her poop was still soft, so Ive just been keeping an eye on her.  Just now she went and when I walked over it was white, so I bent down to look closer and half was just soft and then the end was big and white... so I got a stick and started poking around.  I think the white part is what came out first, and it was a thick white (opaque) mucousy sack like thing... I know the word sack would signal worms, but it didnt really look like that, and I didnt see any thing like worms.  So after moving it around for a while I saw some grass, a black thing, and a small piece of plastic.  I really try to make sure she doesnt get anything into her that she shouldnt but it hard she picks up everything she sees.... shes getting better with drop it, but anyway.  The sack part was kinda thick and stuck together, and there was also clearish white jelly stuff.  What I think was the last of the poop that came out was normal other than still being very soft... Other than that as before shes acting and eating/drinking normal.  Any thoughts?

You could take it to the vet and ask them to do a fecal flotation and assess the stool for signs of  other problems.
I usually err on the side of caution with very young puppies.

The mucous is normal with tummy upset but I'm with spiritdogs on puppies - when in doubt, to the vet they go!

I noticed you are in NO - there's a lot of really bad stuff still hanging around there.  She could have had a bout of giardia or coccidea. It might have resolved itself, but it won't hurt to take a fecal to the vet just in case it's still there waiting for another opportunity to break out.

Okay tomorrow if it looks like that Ill just pick it up and go to the vet.  Thanks.

Lol, I know Im crazy but this has been eating away at me wondering whether or not to taker her to the vet or if its just something else... I think it was the Innova puppy canned... too rich?  But once I took that away, waited a few days... and REGULAR POOP!!  WOHOOO!
