Baby Asprin Okay?

Amy, I'd take her in the morning.  Tonight, give her a light rub down.  (Ok, it's the morning now isn't it...[8D], still give her a rub down and see how she is doing)  Use your hands and rub them over her whole body.  Get a feel for if something is out of place, see where she winces and if the muscles in that area are sore.  You already gave her the baby aspirin, I think that's good.  It will help to alleviate some of the pain for now and will make her more comfortable.

She may have gotten a pretty good sprain.  Nigel did that one day when he was rubbing on the ground, freak thing, he just rolled into the ground "just right" and gave himself one heck of a tweek that turned out to be a really pulled muscle that took about a week to heal, in the meantime poor guy couldn't lay on that shoulder for the entire time, it hurt to get up, get down, to move basically and all I could do was gentle massage and baby aspirin.  Let us know how she's doing.

Okay well this morning she is still limping.  She is not crying at all anymore, just limping still.  So Im going to call the vet... I just have a feeling they are going to charge me a whole lot for nothing... but Id rather be sure.

Last night she threw up in the bed... I think I switched her food from Nutro to Innova too fast I guess, so I gave her some pumpkin and she slept fine.  I thought about going back and continuing to mix, but I think Ive read its better to just stick with what youve done than to go backwards.  So I just added some pumpkin to her food this morning but she didnt eat it.  That was off topic.

I have been feeling her and pushing on spots and none of that seems to bother her or feel strange so Im guessing its only when she puts weight on it.  My mom doesnt think I need to go because Kayla would limp for a few days then get better, but Im worried because Kayla never cried like Bailey did yesterday (then again, Kayla was the queen of handling pain and never ever cried.....)

Oh well, Ill call the vet and let yall know what happens.  What are your thoughts on the food thing?

I have a feeling your dog has something broken, especially now that she has thrown up also. Yes, dogs do hide their pain,  they will play etc. just for you even in pain. My prayers are with you and your dog.

Well... I had a feeling, but I wanted to be sure and not take any chances.  He looked at her for a while and felt all throughout her arm and said its probably just sprained or something and I should just wait and it will most likely get better. [8|]  Then it was $50.

Oh well, it was worth it for me to feel better... and not wonder if I was doing something wrong.

Oh yeah, lol, and of course while we were there she did not limp!  Got back home... limped.  And she threw up in the car[:'(], and I didnt have anything with me!  Luckily the seats are leather but still, it was all watery and yucky.  So now thats the only four times she has been in the car she has thrown up so Im pretty sure she gets car sick, should have mentioned that while I was there.
