What do you do with your dog's "doo"

we just leave it. The dogs prefer to poop in the woods in the back instead on the lawn, so why touch it. Makes the trees grow better.

we installed a doggie dooley (the inground thing) and scoop and dump it in there.  It works OK although I see you are in NH and it definitely works better in warm weather.  Here in NC I hardly ever have to add the enzyme to keep it working - just need ot add water at least weekly and give it a stir [:'(]

I just chuck it over the fence into the woods. Or, if it's way in the back where no one is walking anyway I leave it to disinegrate.

Yeah, but you gotta admit if you don't like your neighbors, it's a great way to say it![sm=dance.gif]

I have a special trash can just for poo. It goes out with the rest of the trash.  I used to have the in ground thing, didn't like it, didn't work too well for us.  We had 2 large dogs at the time and bought the one built for 3 dogs but it did not breakdown very well.  Plus having to drag the hose over every other day was a pain. Scooping and bagging is much easier. [:D]

Where we live it's illegal to put animal waste in the trash...we do anyway.  Where the heck else are we going to put it!?

Over the fence and into the woods[;)] Stuff gets really green out there........................

At the grocery I try to remember to always ask to have some of my stuff bagged in paper bags. I think this is okay on the environment, right? I have a little shovel, really light weight, and a "toy" hoe and rake. These are my scooping tools. Sometimes, especially during the winter, I will just put a plastic bag over my hand and hand scoop. We throw it in the trash, too.

Really All?  I pick it up as soon as they go in the backyard and put it in a their dog food bag.  Dog food bag then goes in regular trash.  I don't like the insects the stuff attract.

DPU, WHAT is that in your signature?  I can't figure it out!

On topic again--I use the old bags our newspapers coem in.  I jus tpull them on like  aglove, pick up the stuff and pull it back off my hand (think peeling it off like a surgical glove). I then knot the top and toss it out.  I like the idea of reusing a package that would just get thrown away (our papers are deliverd to the driveway so they MUST be in bags!).

My backyard is bordered by a large section of woods, so I chuck it over the fence.  No one lives behind me, and it's out range for smelling.

That is a moth drinking the moisture in the poop.  Leaving poop out attracts all sorts of insects and some insects may be harmful to your dog.
