    My DH can't keep track of debit receipts either.  I just put a jar on the kitchen table and make him put all the receipts in there. He's pretty good about not losing them on the way home from the store [:D] but I wouldn't trust him to hold on to them any longer than that. I have an account in just my name (in a different bank) and I just make deposits to it out of our regular account every month.  That way I've got *emergencies* covered.

    You guys make me so glad I'm single. I have a boyfiend (no typo) who lives in the area but 20 mi. away... It's perfect. We are always happy to see each other.[:D]
     
    I fed him much of the winter when he wasn't working. He gave me a car.
    It works out. [:)]

    Good news!  The bank forgave $400 of the overdraw, so I won't have to use my savings to get us out of the hole.  Yay!  However, I'm still taking over the bills....

    Wow!  That is one great bank!  My friend is a branch manager at a bank and she tells me that that is how her bank makes most of their money.  Not on the interest from loans, but on overdraft fees.
