Saturday May 24, 2014 - not 2007!

Looks like the Saturday chat morphed into a "long weekend" chat.  Hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing Memorial Day.  Special thoughts for anyone who has family or friends affected by the loss of a service member.   Remembering all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Our holiday BBQ was at our neighbors' house last night.  Huge spread of food.  They made chicken and ribs that were fantastic, and dishes for the other guests included pasta salad, green salad, egg salad, fruit and veggie trays, corn on the cob, followed by strawberry shortcake, chocolate chip cookies and red velvet cake.  Plenty of wine, too.  Too bad we only had to walk 4 driveways home.  We needed to burn way more calories than that!

Julie, that stinks about the pipe bursting and water leak.  The joys of homeownership are anything but.  Ugh.

Off for a walk with my friend and Ruby.  A bit of sun peeking from the clouds, so we'll get out there now!
