Gosh I totally get the wench of the week award

Really ???  I don't particularly remember you being lewd, promiscuous, or wanton.  Do tell !!!!

    Deb W.

Ooooh, juicy stuff - I am in!!!

LOL thanks I needed the chuckle

And thanks to Sharon and Cathy for helping me not feel so bad about lack of patience with B

So I apologized to DH for being such a Bee-atch and he's still all pissy. Gonna bring out some whoop-ass soon

Karen, don't feel bad about losing your patience with Bugsy.  If Ruby could understand English, her feelings would be often hurt because I hear myself say things to her like, "Tonka wouldn't have done that" or "Tonka was so much more cooperative about getting his nails trimmed."  No Mother's Day presents for me!!!

Jen, that allergy test does not sound fun!

Lisa, a cracked cake is still a delicious cake.  My uncle used to say if a cookie was broken, all the calories fell out of it, so think of it as a low-calorie cake!

No thanks on the pate --- but I'll take one of those drinks, Deb.  That looks deliciously refreshing!

Cathy, I can't wait to see the pic of the Golden and the goat!

Due to hit mid-80's today.  They're saying Sunday should be the return of normal May weather (i.e., rain and cool temps).  These 3 weeks have been truly incredible.  Remind me of that when I'm griping about gloomy weather for the next month!

LOL Karen - let me know if you need in any help. I'm in that kind of mood today ;)

I took Shane up the road for a walk and we were having a lovely time. He was sniffing the grass under a tree and then started walking with me but I could see his mouth was closed and something was peeking out of the side of his lips. His favorite thing to pick up is big leaves, so I reached down to take it out and then realized it was the beak of a baby bird :(. I could not get him to release it nor could I get up enough courage to pull it out, so gulp it went. I was totally squeamed out by it, mad at Shane for not listening, mad at myself for not working more on "leave it" and totally feeling crappy. Now I'm going to work off some energy on the elliptical and hope I feel better by the time we have to go waste time looking at another house we'll never buy. *sigh*

Hopefully the above link works for the pic of the GR and lamb (not a goat, as I thought).

Here's a link to a photo of Hutch, the colt I'm in love with -

what do you get when you have loads of wet weather, then instant heat, and live in the South East?

I won't answer until I get some guesses!!

So to lighten my mood I saw an ignorant post on a GSP FB group and went off on what a 'good breeder' is - which was not the poster who was trying to find a cheap stud to make puppies with. Super Angry

LOL Tracy and thank you Cathy for your offer of opening that can of whoop ass

FWIW I was mean to Bugsy today.  I know he's 'just a dog' but he just never settles so he totally wore himself to a frazzle yesterday and was a mess this morning. But he won't poop unless you walk him and he can only poop in certain spots which meant a longer distance than he should have gone today. So he was soooooooooooooooo slow walking back home and dragging me into mud and I totally wound up yelling at him and pulling him along. At least with him it had no effect - bad at the time because we stayed slow and in the mud but lucky for me in the long run as its life as usual for him now.

OK I await your answers to my question

    Mosquitoes ??

That was my first thought, too.  If it's not an insect, how about mold?

Cathy, the dog and lamb are so adorable!  I'm sharing that pic with some people, if you don't mind.  So sweet.  And that colt is beautiful.  I've had very little "up close and personal" exposure to horses, but I think they're just so stunning and majestic.

Here is a pic of the low-fat triple butter chocoate cake with homemade butter cream frosting ;-)  As well as the pics of the cake pops we made the other day and her new dress - made by her Nana (my mom).

The cake and the pops look great -- I bet they were delicious.  Love all the colored sprinkles.  So festive!

Riley is so darn cute.  She's so preppy in her plaid dress and Keds-style deck shoes.  Looks like a great birthday is in the works!

    • Gold Top Dog

    Ditto what Deb just said!

And the cake looks delish! What time do we eat?

    • Gold Top Dog

     Mosquitoes, roaches and fire ants!

Beautiful cakes and beautiful Riley!  I used to love making dresses for my daughter!

    Mosquitoes ??

No you get billions and billions and trillions of ants Indifferent They are harmless 'sugar' ants or 'piss' ants but good golly they are every freaking where!!

Even the mosquitoes need a bit of time to erupt, ants are instant

OK on to much better topics...........

Lisa, Riley is so adorable!! I cannot believe she is SIX!!!!!!!!!

The cake and the cake pops are fabulous and I love her new dress!

What a great birthday Big SmileParty!!!

Cathy I love the horses and the dog & goat. I love goats

Lisa, Riley is adorable and that cake looks great!  It's hard to believe that she's 6 already.

I went to the Dixon May fair with my neighbor last night and dinner was a jumbo  corn dog and 1/2 a funnel cake.  One more fair comes in August and then I will have had my corn dog and funnel cake "fix" for the year.

I was outside around 5 p.m. cleaning off  two little tables that I keep the pool towels folded on and Max was at the other side of the yard staring at the fence. It took me a few minutes to figure out that he was looking at his own shadow.  The breeze was blowing his ears and he was trying to figure out how to catch them. Nice to know he's so easily entertained. Big Smile Goofy dog.
