Mindless Monday

 Feel better Charlie.

I'm feeling slightly less icky, but freezing still. I'm cold enough to debate showering during Dancing with the Stars to warm up instead of waiting another hour till it's over.  At least my nose doesn't drip every time I look down the slightest bit now.

I never saw or heard much of it in any Field competition or sport but the show ring is so different, being so subjective, and it seems to bring out the worst in some people.  I'm sure there are show dog people who don't gossip and backstab each other but sometimes they are thin on the ground. lol 

Only have gone to a few confirmation shows...only to be a spectator, as my dogs are always rescues. Probably why I've only gone to a few shows, it just doesn't give the air of a lot of fun going on.

Hey Johnny, how are you? Yup, I'm one of them old hags. Having my 60th this summer. Still think I'm only about 30 or so. Love to get back and visit Nova Scotia some day.

Lisa hope all is okay with Charlie and he just strained a bit of a muscle when he jumped.

Feel better Charlie.  Happy Gotcha Day Shane!!  (my Charlie sez any *new* toy is a GREAT toy!)

Jackie -- that's awful about all that man's missing stuff -- sounds like someone knew he had "lots".  ugh.  People are awful.

Jen feel better.  Lisa -- at least all that soreness went to something you've wanted done for a long time (and cheaper than you thot too!)

I think it was Tracy who said she knew someone's mom who had hernia surgery and it took a long time to heal -- THANK YOU FOR THAT!!  My Mom really appreciated that.  Today is day 11 after surgery (and subsequent hospitalization) - but this morning I asked how she was today and she said: (drumroll)

"I am feeling **better** today!! Not all better, but **BETTER** than I have!!"  She ate all 3 meals -- and was sore because her stomach stretched but didn't feel bad.  Phew.
