Lindsay- Bernie...
Done lurking...
Hey All! I've been a member here since '04, and I know many of you from other boards. But life has gotten a little less busy lately, so I have time to come out from lurking on I-dog and will hopefully have time to post some. I like the new look! Bernie is my 3 year old boxer mix rescue...

Magic Erasers
I don't know how they work, but they did a knock-up job of cleaning the tile in my shower today with little effort...and without the slippery mess of other cleaners! Bassets can fling drool all over the place, and they do a super job getting it off the walls! Has anyone else discovered these or...

Water Guarding??
Background info - all dogs kibble plus canned and some fresh fed. Each crate has water pail, plus water bowls outside, in the kitchen, and in our bedroom. Water is never withheld from the dogs. Here's what is going on. Bree has started (on occasion - like maybe 4 or 5 times over the last 2 months...

The Old Girl's Still Got It!
Sierras estimated birth was around mid-November, 2002 (I got her when she was about 5-6 weeks old). So that would make her around 3.5 years old by now. So we were out for our walk, and we met a nice man who gave me the "is he a puppy?" question. It made me smile inside, as I told him that...

What busy dogs do all day....
Shaq and Marley's usual position. It's like having furniture with fur, that sometimes needs to be fed.

Molly says "hey"
and would like to be admired...she'd like all the doggies out there to say "oh lucky girl she has a new squeaky toy" LOL got it Friday (well should say she did, she grabbed it out of the bin at the pet store) and I've already sewn the sqeuaker back in.

Why You Love I-dog
Well, since it seems like it has been a bad day for i-dog, I decided to start this thread. Also from what I said in NDR, I changed my mind somewhat, I will find a new place to lurk, but since there seems to be a vacancy for another obsessed dog owner, I think I'll fill it. Maybe this weekend I'll...

Happy Gotcha Day for Casey
It was one year ago today, at just about 7:35 PM, that Casey entered our house for the very first time. He was a little fuzzball that cried that whole night in his crate. Now he's a 75 lb. doofus (but a loved doofus!) who crashes into furniture and moves it, loves to play tug, and very literally...

A Breeder I'd probably avoid...
So was browsing the classifieds yesterday and saw an ad for border collie puppies. Didn't say much, and even though I know better than to even think of getting a dog from an ad, I took down the phone number. I then reverse checked the phone number to see where the breeder was. This one was close...

My Little Mark Spitz
Okay, so I'm severely dating myself with the Mark Spitz reference! Anyway - We take Slick swimming to an indoor pool which has "Open Swim" on the weekends. This means there can be LOTS of dogs swimming at the same time. Slick had previously only swam with 1 or 2 at a time, who were...
