Newbie here...

Shannon Posted : 3/8/2006 11:25:57 AM Hi all.  I'm new to the board.  My name is Shannon and I have two kids, Haley is 5yo and Daniel is 18mo.  I am engaged and we have one furbaby.  Her name is Sasha and she is 7wks old.  She is an American Bull Dog.  This is our first time owning a puppy, so we are learning something new daily!!  I am very nervous about owning a puppy...just bc I want to raise her right.  So, this MB should help out a lot!!!  Am I welcome?? Where did you get such a young puppy? Usually breeders wait until pups are at least 8 wks old for them to leave their mom. Hope you post pictures soon! • dawnk777 Posted : 3/8/2006 12:07:48 PM Welcome, Shannon.  You must be busy at your house!  We adopted a slightly older dog, so we wouldn't have to deal with the puppy stuff.  Jasmine was about a year old, I think, when we adopted her.  We still had to go through housebreaking!  Ugh.  She was good within a few months, though.
