Here I am asking for prayers again--for Willow

I feel like I shouldn't bother you all but for Willow I will.

We were not able to lower her Prednisone two weeks ago as we would have liked because her platelets dropped significantly since the last test.  She's going for another test tomorrow and we are hoping that this drop was just a normal variation and we will see improvement enough to lower the dose.  She really "needs" the dose lowered as her liver is effected now and her undercoat is almost gone.  I showed someone who knows her a recent picture of her the other day and they said she looks like a different dog.

So, please if you can, say a prayer or send a vibe for her, whatever you believe in that she gets the results she needs.

    Thank you.

    Lori

You are not bothering us at all!!

Willow is always in my prayers - I know how it is. Remember, like I said in the beginning, some days ya just have to take it an hour at a time (hugs)

It's never a bother to wish you and Willow well.  Good vibes headed your way for her to have some improvement on her test results and lower pred.

Lori- I'm sorry that things haven't gone as well as we'd want them too, but I will definitely say an extra prayer that the new bloodwork shows some improvement. Good thoughts and prayers for both of you. I know how hard it can be to worry about this kind of thing. Willow is so lucky to have you.

Here is a healing candle much like the one on my mantle and it is glowing brightly with prayers that you get the results you want in her next tests. She is such a gracious looking Lady. Candle Bonita of Bwana

Huge loads of prayers and good vibes traveling 3,000 miles straight to Willow and her platelets.  Lori, I know you're so very worried and afraid for your sweetheart - I'm sending lots of strong, supportive vibes for you, too, and of course Willow has a very special angel watching over her.  Hugs for both of you.  I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts.

Thank you everyone.  I'm having the hardest time sleeping tonight.  I had started to deal with this anxiety much better up until this set back.

Absolutely - I've been gone much of the weekend, so I'm sorry I wasn't at the 'top of the list'!!!

Lori -- ***remember*** the liver is the one organ that is actually capable of regenerating.  Even tho the liver may be affected, it can also recover, so don't paint it too black for yourself.

Lori, you aren't bothering anyone.  We're sending Willow platelet building vibes.

I'm trying not too Callie and thank you.  A woman on my forum for this just lost her dog Thanksgiving morning--only four days after the diagnosis.

    THANKS, AMANDA!!

Of course! We adore Willow, over here. Anything for a fluffy, blue friendSmile

And I'm right there with Callie. Livers regenerate. That's the great thing about them. Emma's numbers were so bleak, that she wasn't expected to see her first birthday. We recently celebrated her fifth. I expect Willow to do at LEAST as well. She's got all this i-dog awesome prayers and vibes, going for her, and she's got the best mommy she could ask for.

Willow, you must get better. That is all there is to it.

Poor Willow. And poor YOU, Lori! I hope her results improve and she feels better. I know I've said it before, but she is a very lucky doggie to have such a caring mommy.
