Drizzle, I know how lost you must be but you gotta start eating some because, like you saw today, the world has so many more things to offer you. You did good getting that hamburger, keep it up with the other good stuff that your Dad has for you.

David, thank you so much for sharing those pictures, Drizzle is absolutely beautiful. Taking her out new outings is such an excellent idea; it can be a great motivator for her and give her the one on one time she needs. Just in case you want to try and since she seemed interested by the hamburger, here is the a recipe page for Satin Balls . I am keeping you and Drizzle in my thoughts.

DPU, I am so late to this thread but I want to tell you how sorry I am to hear about Blizzard. I thought of her so often. I will keep you, your family and Drizzle in my thoughts and prayers. Drizzle... you keep up the fight -- eat, drink and stay with your family -- give them more memories each day that they will cherish for a lifetime. And Blizzard, may you romp around with so many of our precious fur kids until you're reunited with your family one day.

Good news! Drizzle has taken her last 3 meals. And, on the last one, she licked her bowl clean, no leftovers. I have her on Hill's I/D and will keep her on it for a week. I/D is not her favorite food so I mush it up with hot water to make it soft. Her appetite is strong to eat that stuff. We did have another outing where I took her with me for groceries. Afterwards we went to the lake so she could chase the geese for a little while.

We are very sorry to hear about Blizzard. It sounds like Drizzle is coming out of it a little bit. It will take some time for you both.

Oh my. :( I'm so happy Drizzle is eating. I've been away since the 29th and had no idea of your loss and Drizzle's struggle. My heart hurts for both of you.

I just read the entire thread and I am in tears. I am so sorry to hear about Blizzard. But good on you for keeping strong and pushing Drizzle along! She really needs you now, and you are coming through for her more than ever. You are an amazing person! I truly hope she continues to eat and I hope that you are okay as well and that you also get the time for yourself to grieve.

I'm a bit late to this thread, but my condolances about Blizzard -- you did so much for her and worked so hard to keep her comfortable and happy.

Drizzle, good for you for eating! You need to maintain your beautiful looks, you know, and eating healthy is a good way to start.

Yay for Drizzle eating!!!! Soon enough you won't be able to stop her and then you may have to cut back on the Whoppers (they are sooooo yummy though).

Keep it up Drizzle - your Dad needs you to keep him going to.
