• Brando is having surgery on the 3rd UPDATE Debbie R Posted : 3/26/2007 7:02:48 PM I am a wreck, but it needs to be done his patella is shot. We were able to put it off for a year. But my boy is now suffering. I am so scared for him. As a person who lives in constant pain I am very concerned about pain management. All that I hear from other dog moms and dads the pain is horrendous the first week or two they moan, cry, pace and don't sleep, yikes.[&o] So my little boy could use some big prayers. I am going to document this whole thing with the hopes I can help the next person /dog going through this, by avoiding my mistakes, I hope I don't make too many, I have been doing my research.   Brando is out of surgery and it went really well no extensive damage to the bone. I can pick him up at 5:30pm then I have to bring him back in the morning to take his bandage off. Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes. I've known people who've been through this with their pups and have done just fine. Have you looked on Yahoo for their Ortho Dogs group?
