    Need i-dog prayers

Well, as some of you know, I have recently rescued a 6 year old Italian Greyhound named Angel.
Her teeth are rotten and will be coming out and she is going to be spay. I found out today that she has a mammory gland tumor ( praying it is only one) and this will also have to be removed. I am an emotion wreck. I need all the positive thoughts that you all send out that it is benign and that she will be fine.
She had such a rough life and I want her to have a healthy happy rest of her life.
Also, she has gained some noticeable weight over the past week, she's starting to look buff. She is getting nice muscle tone in her legs.
    Thanks guys.

You've got it Lena.  And bless you for saving this girl.

Prayers are with her.  Prayers also for your strength thru all this.  Remember most mammary "tumors" in humans turn out to be benign.  Hers could be too.

Our prayers are with her also Lena and for you to have strength to go thru this...its so scary I am sure. When will it be removed?

Yes Lena, sending prayers and healing thoughts for Angel.  Think positive thoughts that she'll get all this taken care of live a happy, healthy 7+ years with you.  It sounds like she's starting to thrive already so that should help her with the surgery.

Baby Angel goes for her surgeries on the 15th. I am just about a nervous wreck. Thank you for your kind words and wishes.

    You've got it Lena.

Why are their surgeries always so much harder on US than on them??
    • Gold Top Dog
Keep the faith Lena,,,try not too worry!  Try to only let yourself think about it for a short time a day, and when you think about it the other times...tell yourself that you can't think about it for now,,,only in that "worry time!"  You both will get thru this fine!

Prayers and good thoughts going out to you Lena and baby Angel from WV!  BTW, she is just adorable!!  And I agree with Glenda, the surgeries are harder on us than them because of all the worry involved.  Keep us posted.

    Thank you friends.
Baby Angel is home now, the Dr. didn't want to keep her over nite because he feels she has been through more than her share of emotional upsets with abandonment. She was happy beyond belief when she saw me.
Her blood panel came back perfect and that was such a relief. They have sent the lump out to be tested and I pray it comes back okay.
She only had to have 2 teeth removed, now she has a total of 8 left. They did the grafts on the K9s and were very please with the way it turned out. No more food and water going in her nose. Yeahhh. She seems to be breathing much easier and when I fed her it was the first time she didn't snort because no food was going into her sinus cavity. Yeahhh again.
She is very groggy and just wants to cuddle so I am gonna go and do just that.
Just need one more prayer please, that the lump is nothing but a lump.
    (((hugs))) to you all
    Lena

When Billy was at Lake Lilly last night getting his massage from Jed, there're a pair of italian greys (Dino and now his buddy "Prince") who dash their guardian around the lake on a nice fast trot (the guy's out for exercise and trust me - those little IG's are GIVING it to him LOL).

Prince's coloring is SO similar to Angel's and I was mentioning her to him.  so the story goes on and on -- and she's been on my heart and will stay there!!
