Tessy's Lymphoma relapse

    Tessy's Lymphoma relapse

A few weeks ago Tessy relapsed with lymphoma due to drug resistence.  Early last week I tried a rescue protocol in hopes it may put her back in remission.  The drug seemed to be working for a day or two and then stopped working.  Her nodes are starting to grow even bigger and for the first time in a long time not even an hour ago she refused food.  Tessy doesn't refuse food!

I'm going to go to the vet tomorrow in hopes they'll charge till payday.  I've got yet another drug to try.  Ugh, the stress lately!

We'd greatly appreciate it if she could get some of the famous i-dog prayers and vibes.  They've worked so well in the past for her and I'm hoping they'll serve us well yet again.

THANK YOU all in advance for being there for us.  She's my world!

Johnny, we are thinking of both you & Tessy.  Hopefully the new drug will put her back into remission.

Johnny -- absolutely -- not just for Tessy but that your vet will work with you on this AND that the drug will help her.

I'm so sorry Johnny.  I know how hard this is for you.  You are the best dad, ever!  Hang in there little girl.  Continued good thoughts and prayers for both of you!

Thanks everyone!  Tessy seems to be doing a bit better today.  She ate a little and is drinking LOADS AND LOADS of water.  Just another thing to worry about I guess.

She's going in again today to get an IV treatment ...antitumor antibiotic.  Wish us luck!

Her body is just wanting to keep things rinsed out.  ... still praying and praying!!

Sending you prayers, good vibes and everything I have, that the new drugs work and Tessy's continues to improve.

Well, Tessy wasn't able to get her IV treatment because now she's got Pancytopenia!  UGH  Platelets were only 50,000, crit was 28% and wbc was just below the ref range.

I guess now I cross my fingers and hope for her numbers to improve sooner than later so she can get her treatment.

On a plus note she IS eating small amounts of food again.  However, she's drinking far too much water!  Her urea was up to 30 so now I gotta figure out my next move.  All the drugs lately got me so broke I can't even afford a UA for her.  Who knew chemo drugs were sooo cheap!

Anyhow, thanks again for all the thoughts.  I'll try my best to keep everyone posted on how she does.

(((Johnny)));  Praying that Tessie goes into remission again.

Dang, John -- will keep lifting you up.  What do they want to do to get the platelets up?

Poor Tessy, I'm so sorry, Johnny.

What do they want to do to get the platelets up?

I'm just going to use the common hematinics for her.  I'm fairly confident it isn't immune mediated so no need for suppressors.  I'm hoping that by weeks end they'll be up high enough for to get her treatment.

We're not giving up yet!  I've got several rabbits in my hat!
