Today's update: She's pretty much in the same condition. She did manage to pass a breathing test, but since she wouldn't "protect her airways" they went ahead and scheduled the trach. I don't know if they went forward with that or not, but the decision has been to put her on vent only. They know that they could keep her going on with medicine and machines, but that's not what they want. She can breathe on her own, but who knows what will happen after this. I will continue to keep you updated.

Today's update:

They are keeping her comfortable, but not pursuing medical intervention any longer. Her mother wrote, "Barring a miracle she will pass away."

I'm so sorry to see this and I will continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers and her family and friends too. ((((hugs))))
