Good vibes for Bailey

Baileys having surgery today to remove the growth on his paw.

I dropped him off this morning at 7, & they said I should be able to pick him up at about 3 ish, maybe sooner depending on how fast he wakes up. I bought his blanket and his pillow with him (yes, Bailey has his own pillow, two of them actually ). The vet just called me to say that his bloodwork is done and it all looked good so they are getting him ready for surgery.

I held it together at the vet when I dropped him off, I didnt want to make him any more nervous than he already was. But NOW Im a nervous wreck.
This is going to be THE longest. day. ever.

Chels: I went through this with Jamison not too long ago, so I can relate to how nervous you are. Just remember that the Vet knows what he/she is doing and its a relatively minor procedure. I'm sure Bailey will come through just fine !!!!

I know is just a simple surgery, but that sure doesnt make it any easier. I miss my boy Sad I just went to feed the cats, and I accidently dropped some on the floor and it splatered everywhere, I was expecting him come running it when he smelled the cat food, but then I remembered that hes not here.

It feels like the clocks arnt moving, time is going by SO slow today.

Just talked to one of the assistants and she said it went well but he is only just starting to wake up, so I wont be able to pick him for a while. The vet that did the surgery has to talk to me when I pick him up, and she is in another surgery right now, so they said I should get there for around 4:30.

Jeeze... another 3 hours to go. I hope it goes by faster than the rest of the day has.

I was going to give him something extra yummy for dinner, but I wasnt sure if he should be eating or not, so I only took out something small for him now. But if he is feeling better tomarrow I will give him something good (maybe a cornish game hen... he looooves those)

I'm leaving in about 20 minutes to go get him!
