Turns out I was slightly wrong with the chain of events, today was the hearing to determine if he was being kept for another 14 days. He is. But he has also appealed the hearing, so Friday he gets to go to court to fight this.

He's trying to discredit any input/insight my mom might have about him. He is still refusing to admit he might have a problem, forget admitting he might be bipolar. 

Usually when someone is in this sort of shape they tend to damn themselves as they are trying to extricate themselves. 

Will definitely keep lifting him up!!!

Considering she went to the movies right after breaking up with him, she's doing just fine. Late last night she puts " is surprised to realize the Kelley Clarkson song "Already Gone" very aptly describes my situation with my ex-bf o.O"

Now I'm getting angry at her....

 Just another update...

Daniel's coming home on Thursday. He originally wanted to move in with my uncle. My uncle can't take on that responsibility.

I honestly don't know how he really feels about coming home. He has stated he doesn't feel he can learn to be independent or even grow up while living at home.

After a lot of thought on it, I realized what he considers 'independent' is my idea of 'freedom'. In that case, no, he's not going to get it here. Simply because here, we are considerate of one another and there are rules and responsibilities. I always thought that was a good thing...

One thing I've learned from dealing with the couple of people I know who have issues like this.  You cannot change their mind about anything and you cannot take what they say to personally or to heart.
