MIL is dying, or maybe not

Oh, the power of collective positive thoughts and prayers is amazing, isn't it? What great news--sending lots more love and prayers and positive energy! And, we're happy to be your rock anytime!!

MIL's heart rate was a bit fast last night and there was some concern about that.  The doc wants to watch it for a couple days before he lets her leave.  But, is still planning to let her leave.

MIL continues to improve.  More details in MC Sunday.

 That's just amazing!  Sending every good vibe we've got that it continues.

So apparently the doctor is convinced that the improvement is for real.  And, if she goes to skilled nursing, she'll get regular PT and work on actual improvement, as well as agressive medical care.

OK, she's at the nursing home, settled in and happy to be back there.  DS is going to Portland to stay with his buddy, and the NH is getting a bed ready for DH. 

Unbelievable.  I truly thought he was going up there to see her before she died.  Tough old broad, guess she just needed to be reminded.

This is great news!  So glad she is doing so much better.  Lots of safe travel prayers for your DH's return!

Guess I should probably update.  She's doing FINE.  DH and DS got her medical care straightened out, and everything else has fallen right in.  She seems to have gotten back her will to live.  Thankfully.
