. . .continuing to send get well wishes to Charlie. 

Jackie emailed me.  Charles had a flare-up of diverticulitis, so he is on antibiotics for it.  If the antibiotics don't help, there is a chance he will need surgery, so please keep the get well vibes and thoughts going.  Jackie is a tad worried, but trying to stay positive and call it a bump in the road.

The good news is he made two laps around the unit yesterday.  They're also getting all the cards and it made them both smile.  She also did get a decent night's sleep last night.

 well glad that Jackie slept and that he was able to do two laps but fingers crossed the diverticulitis settles swiftly!

I spoke with Jackie last night.  She is coping as best as possible and taking it just one day at a time.  I just really wanted to let you guys know how much she really, really, really appreciates everyone's good wishes.  If you can, give her a call - she loves talking to everyone !!!!

On a side note - I think she should give up the heating the air conditioning business and become a phone sex operator.  She has a very sexy voice !!!

I've had a bout of diverticulitis and I know it's no fun. Hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick though and no surgery will be necessary. I'm glad that the rest of the news was good though and will continue with my good thoughts and prayers for you guys.

No more surgeries for Charles - sending prayer requests for the antibiotics to address the issue without any further trouble.

Sexy phone voice, eh?  Probably gets sexier from sleep deprivation... poor girl.  Hope your sister is giving you extra strength and help.  Dumb things like running to the store for something when you don't want to leave Charles' side is really such a gift.  I'm glad she's there to hold your hands when you need it.
