    ITS NOT CANCER.
Sorry for yelling but we just got the results in and Angels mammary tumor is benign.
I'm just on top of the world[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
Dr. Blackburn said that this is a good thing but we have to keep a careful eye on her in case more develop, he said that the report said that she is primed(???) to possibly get more. Need an explanation on this.
Anyway, I just had to let you all know and say that "The powers of forum dogs prayers" have again been heard.
    HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY
    Love this Angel of mine[;)]

Wow -- my buddy Dino wood think she was a BABE!!!!

See Mis Lena -- sumtimes a lump IS justa lumpy bumpy.

My Mom didn't tell this funny 'bout me but *I* will!!!  Last week when we wented ta Lake Lilly ta see my bud Jed (who gives the BESTEST massages ever!), I wuz a GOOD boy ... I sitted a long time an then I layed down fur a long time fur Jed ta massage me all good.  But then ... well a guy can ONLY sit so long ya no???

So I gotted up and stretched an .... well nobuddy seemed ta get the ideer ... so I wented over an sitted rite in front of the place Mom sitted on.  She had her talk thingamy next to her (the one that gets noisy when Dad calls??) an her keys (can't go home wif-out THOSE ta make the Cruizer go vrrrroooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmm) an ... an ... an .... the zippy bag.

Zippy bags -- GOOD STUFF comes in those ya no ..... like TREATS.... an usually Mom's got em!!!  TREATS.  yum....

Well, I wuz just bein helpful ... so I putted my nose RITE in front of that .... that ... that ... wunnerful zippy bag!!!!

Jed says ta Mom "What does HE want??" (so what if I had my nose just layin on the seat thingamy RITE in front of the zippy bag)

Mom plays inno-cent .... "I dunno .... Billy what DO you want?"

DUH!!!!!!  I just pressed my nose harder onta that seat thingamy -- my nose was RITE in front of that zippy bag ... sheesh folks -- FIGGER IT OUT!!!!!!

Mom picks up the call noisy thing ..."You want my fone???" (that's what she said, I just can't spell it)

noooooooooooo duh ... I'ma dog here.  I can't even say ZIPPY BAG or I'd yell it!!!

    "You want my keys???"

sheesh heck no -- don't wanna go til I get the TREEEEEETS!!!! *BIG sigh*

"You want ... a poop bag???"

    huh?

"OHHHHH JED -- he thinks this is a TREAT bag?? and it's the bag I brought in case he has to poop so I can toss it!!"

Now how devastated can one dog be???

But yeah, Miz Lena .... a lump can JUST be a lump (and that's a GOOD thing) .... and .... *sigh* SOMETIMES a zippy bag can JUST be a ....

    **VERY BIG SIGH**

    M T zippy bag.

No treats.  dang.  sometimz a zippy bag IS just a zippy bag.  that's NOT a good thing.  but a lump that's just a lump IS a good thing.

Lena -- do you have a vet that does TCVM near you (the Chinese stuff??) -- your vet is right ... sometimes when the body begins to manufacture such stuff it can do it again and again.  When Dr. D feels the pulse points thru-out the body often she will comment that the blood needs to move 'faster' thru the body and not be so sluggish.  The Chinese word for cancer is 'sluggish blood' and often they treat dogs that have previously had mast cell tumors with blood tonics just to keep more from forming.   And often a benign tumor can *become* cancerous over the course of time.

I'm not saying stop going to this vet (this vet sounds really good in fact) but comparing diagnosis with a TCVM vet might give you that edge you need with her to help set the body up to 'win' rather than lose.

And another thot -- I've rescued enough "old dogs" and sick dogs to tell you that yeah, sometimes it seems like one after another problem will crop up, simply because the body has been ill kept for SO long that it can be like peeling an onion to get to 'health'.

But you're doing great with her.  I'm SO glad this turned out to be benign!!!! Good catch Lena!!!

Dang ... who the heck posted ahead of me???  Darned dog has been on the 'puter again!!!
