Hi everyone -- just wanted to let you know that we're making a lot of progress, in only a few days! On walks, now, she will bark, but maybe once, and when I make a psst sound, or say, "stop" or "no barking", she sits down and waits for a treat -- OR, even if I don't have a treat, she will continue walking. She is always barky in the beginning of the walk, and towards the end, will just walk right by people who are standing in their yards. I know people were saying it might be dangerous to teach her she will get a treat after she had recently been barking ... but everything seems to be working out well. It is, however, harder to get her to stop barking when people come into the house. I think that will come in time.
