Vid: For concerned owners afraid to feed RMB's because of choking hazard.

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=43533613  For the folks that's interested in the dental/health benefit of feeding RMB's but is afraid of their pet choking on the bones, I figured I'll record some footage of today's dinner time. It's a frozen chicken quarter. I usually don't hold it for him but it made for a better video. Happy raw feeding. Stick out tongue

Cool vid. Neat idea to feed in the bathtub. Minimal muss, no fuss.

I'd watch, but it makes me kind of ill to hear my dogs tearing apart chicken, soooo....

Anyway, I'm definitely not afraid so the vid is not aimed at me.  I feed in crates or outside.  Do you always feed in the bathtub?

I would feed outside but I don't have a yard so the tub is the easiest alternative.

Nice video.  Beautiful dobie, too.  I have two 12 lb. rat terriers and they do just fine on RMB's.  Since their gullets are so small, I don't give them chicken wings tips or necks, but they get all other parts.  My girls haven't had a lick (no pun intended) of trouble with them.

Why do people who feed raw always videotape their dogs eating???  Sorry, I just think it's so perplexing...

It's fascinating to watch them eat. At least, it is to  me. I have lots of photos of my dogs eating birds and rabbits and such. Becca has photos of Ben eating lamb (no, really, a WHOLE lamb!) that are really cool. *shrugs* Nerds. Ya never know... LOL

Ewwww, sorry, just the thought of my girls eating that stuff makes my tummy do flip flops. And I grew up in a family of hunters. I just can't imagine seeing it much less video taping it. And the mess!!! :)

How about some freshly slaughtered goat ribs!

That goat was up and running around not 30 minutes before those pics were taken. If it's any consolation, she was a really mean goat. Big Smile
