What is everyone feeding now?

I'd love that recipe also please! Sounds great!

We only eat white meat (nobody can even tell the difference between ground turkey and ground beef anyway)  and try to make sure to have a fiber and a whole grain with every meal.   We all feel so much better when we eat healthier.  I agree though, the mess is the hardest part about it.

Me too! I'm gonna send you a PM now :)

    we're all canidae over here.

However, i really really like Evo. When i graduate, i'll probably switch the dogs to exclusively evo. I also like orijen, but the only place that carries it charges an outrageous price.

We rotate human-grade/premium ingredient kibble, so right now we're on Solid Gold. Haven't used Solid Gold in years, so far so good! They always get oils/omegas, digestive enzymes and home cooked goodies like fresh meat and veggies.

Well....we're in the process of looking for a new food. All 4 dogs  have become completely bored with the foods in their rotation and frankly I'm not getting good results from any of them anymore. Most recently we were doing TOTW and CORE.  All 4 continually had HUGE mushy light colored poops on these two foods.  I put Canine Caviar Split Pea and Venison back in and still the same results.  My girls won't eat CORE because of the kibble size and the same with TOTW and now they're picking at the CC Venison too. They've also developed a dislike for Soild Gold BATM  which was one of our rotational foods. They've gotten so that they much prefer raw meat over canned ANYTHING ( except fish ... sardines, mackeral, etc ). and will only eat their kibble if it's mixed w/Nature's Variety patties / medallions or Bravo faw patties.   Frankly as far as kibble goes.... I think we're going to go back to Timberwolf  Wild and Natural as it's the food they've had the best results with as far as coats, energy, poops, etc.

Is there anything NEW out there anyone has heard of that's GRAIN FREE , besides the new Merrick ? Actually I'm going to try a bag of that this week and see how it goes.  I'll just be glad when I can get my new freezer and just feed RAW RAW RAW.... kibble has become a headache.

I just picked up a bag of Eagle Pack Holistic Select senior formula for Jetta. She's not a senior yet, but I like how it has more protein than the regular adult formulas, plus extra glucosamine and antioxidants.

I am trying to wean her off Royal Canin. Its really the only food she will eat, (and doesn't aggravate her allergies) but I know its not the best. We'll see how the Eagle Pack goes.

Blue has a grain free in their Wilderness.

Honestly, I've been rotating protein sources in Blue and not even bothering with other brands for the past few months.

Yesterday I bought some NV frozen venison and lamb, a case of canned NV instinct lamb, and TOTW field and streem. I'll add that to my stash of Ziwipeak and Honest Kitchen. My two get something different for every meal. We rotate a lot around here. Today they got some organic eggs and turkey bacon ;)

Last night, Bev & Brinxx had ostrich necks.  Shooter, & Schatzi had quail.  Chyna is eating Nature's Variety Instinct right now.

Flint River Ranch - rotate formula's but never change brands.  My dogs do not do well with food changes are doing really well on FRR.

Molly is eating half and half Wellness Core kibble and Eagle Pack Canned. Bella is eating Blue Buffalo kibble with added green beans as she is at a good weigh but loves to eat. Molly is picky (our fault) Bella is not so I don`t want to rock the boat.

My boys eat Purina One with some "people" food thrown in a few times a week. I rotate between the lamb and rice, chicken and rice, and sensitive systems, which is salmon and rice. It works for all three dogs and my budget. My cats eat half Purina One and half Authority canned.

I've been feeding both my cat and dog Evo now for the past 3 months or so.  Great stuff I just wish I could find it somewhere locally so I don't have to pay for shipping on a 30 lb bag of dog food.

Okay I take it back.....I'm no longer feeding Eagle Pack. Just a few days of eating it and Jetta has developed at least 4 hot spots. I didn't know for sure if flax was an allergen for her, but now I do!

So....does anyone have any food suggestions (besides royal canin) that has no barley, flax, sunflower oil, corn, and brewers yeast?  I need help:-(
