    Your Dog's Daily Diet

I'm just curious...what's your dog's daily diet? What food brands (plus dry or wet) ;plus anything else mixed in or given separately? Amount?

Also, if you don't mind please include your dog's weight and age. I know I'm asking a lot, it's not some test to see if you're a great nutritionist or anything lol, I'm just honestly curious! [:)]

I feed my dogs Fromm Gold kibble, morning and night.
Jaia and B'asia get 2 cups each meal.
Cara and Mia get 1 cup each meal.

    Morning Additives:
    2 T Yogurt
    Gelatine powder sprinkled on
    1 egg 2-3 times a week
    Fish Oil

    Evening Additives:
3 T Pedigree canned dogfood OR
a slice of NB Lamb Tube
MSM and Ester C for Cara

Other additives (about once a week):
Turkey necks when I can get them
    Chicken wings
    Beefy bones

Satin balls for B'asia (4-5 per week) because she has trouble keeping weight on

    Cara - 5.5 years, 70- lbs
    Mia  - 5.5 years, 65 lbs
    Jaia - 1 year (tomorrow!) 80 lbs

Kenya 60lb 3.5 year old GSD

Home from work - 1 cup Nature's Variety with a tad bit of Iams gravy and a few tiny pieces of jerky to make it smell appetizing

Later at night - 1 more cup of Nature's Variety, again with a few jerky pieces

If I have some cooked meat and/or shredded cheese, I'll add a little of that to her meal.  I've tried kongs but she never finishes them.

If I give her more than 2 cups a day, she won't eat it all.  She also won't eat for DH, so that's why I feed her twice later in the day when I'm around.  She also is being a stinker about not eating ANYTHING (this includes human food and other dog treats) that doesn't smell rediculously meaty.  I use Wellness jerky treats and cut EACH treat into about 6 tiny pieces.  We don't use more than 1-2 treats a day for training b/c she is not food motivated.

Ella is 55-60lbs (it fluctuates and I don't know why).
She eats one cup of Timberwolf Organics Ocean Blue kibble in the morning via some food dispensing toy.
She usually gets her prozyme and salmon oil in that.

At night she usually gets half a cup of kibble again with raw beef heart or sardines or sometimes just a cup of kibble.
i also give her plain yogurt.

She gets some training treats throughout the day sometimes, but not a ton.

I just ordered her some Addiction Kangaroo and Apples kibble and some canned Addiction foods. Oh, and some Orijen kibble as well to try out.

Teenie is a 10-ish year old, 11-12 lb Miniature Dachshund. She has a history of a nasty mouth, and bladder stones. Emma is a 3 year old, 18 lb Parson (trying to get used to saying that!) Russell Terrier. She has a history of terrible food allergies, liver shunts, chronic demodex, and suspected IBD. Yeah, my dogs are special[;)]

They eat modified raw (modified JUST for them[;)]). In the morning, they get meat, with calcium citrate. Emma cannot eat bones. Sometimes, Teenie gets an RMB instead, but her teeth are pretty bad. Usually, she just eats mush, like Emma. At night, they get cooked down or pureed veggies with organ meats and eggs. That mix is about half veggies and half proteins. At midday, they often get a snack of some sort. That's anything from rabbit jerky (unbelievably hard to find!) to Kongs stuffed with whatever, to a handful of blueberries. At bedtime, they get a little bite of whatever. They're spoiled[;)] Everything varies so much, it's really hard to tell you exactly what they get on a day to day basis.

Teenie's additives are glucosamine (500 mg), MSM (500 mg), fish oil (a tsp), vit e (100 IU), a Bach blend (4 drops), and a cranberry pill. Emma gets aloe juice (1 T), glucosamine (500 mg), MSM (500 mg), fish oil (1T), vit e (300 IU), vit a (4000 someunit), and Leaks No More. Oh, and they both get a bit of Calcium Ascorbate, which is buffered vit c. It acidifies the urine and helps with the joint stuffs. They get all of thier additives at night. I'm not a morning person.

Otto eats all kind of crazy stuff mostly because I love trying new things:

    Breakfast:
Either kibble mixed with canned or ziwipeak
(for Kibble I've rotated innova/Evo/artemis/EvoRM and I just bought Core but haven't opened it yet)
(for canned I use only the innova products-evo, puppy and the 95% meats)

    Dinner:
Honest kitchen embark or thrive with occasional mix-ins from Dr. pitcairn's book or nature's variety frozen lamb or beef

    Supplements:
daily salmon oil or halo dreamcoat
    occasional wysong adlife

    I'm lucky otto doesn't have a sensitive tummy :)

Marlowe and Conrad both get Natural Balance Ultra Premium kibble. Marlowe is 55 lb.s and Conrad is 85 lbs.

Marlowe AM: 1 cup kibble mixed with about 1 tbl plain full fat yogurt (omg yum!!!) and frozen in a Kong. He'll also either get a frozen raw beef marrow bone, or an older already-stripped marrow bone that I've refilled with a little peanut butter and frozen.
Conrad AM: Same as Marlowe but 1.5 cups of kibble.
For both dogs I use Kongs, but also other puzzle toys for them to eat out of, so some kibble is left dry, some is mixed with yogurt and frozen, depending on the toy.

Marlowe PM: 1 cup kibble in his bowl
Conrad PM: 1.5 cup kibble in his bowl

Training treats fluctuate. I sometimes bake a big batch of liver brownies, and I'll every now and then grab things that look yummy at the pet store or the natural food co-op. Natural Balance food rolls are always a hit. And a lot of training treats are just their plain kibble because they are both chow hounds like that.

Prancer, 1 yo, 13.5 lb miniature poodle mix

7am:   1/6th can commercial food, 1/2 oz fresh cooked meat, 1 tablespoon homemade "veggie mush"
Noon: 1/8th cup Blue Buffalo Fish/Sweet Potato kibble in a "busy ball"
    3pm:   1 - 2 teaspoons yogurt or cottage cheese
7pm:  1/6th can commercial food, 1/2 oz fresh cooked meat, 1 tablespoon homemade "veggie mush"
Snacks:  1/8th cup Blue Buffalo Fish/Sweet Potato as treats / rewards throughout the day

Commercial canned foods are changed with each new can (every 3 days) and include Canidea, NB Fish/Sweet Potato, Solid Gold Turkey & Whitefish, NB Duck & Potato.
Fresh cooked meats include:   eggwhite, chicken breast, sirloin steak, turkey breast, salmon, sardines, whitefish (flounder, tiliapia, cod).
Veggie mush:  green beans, sweet potato, white potato, a bit of a green leafy veggie, a bit of brocolli, and a fruit (banana, apple or blueberries).    I'll be reducing the amount of potato (both white and sweet) and increasing the amt of fresh meat but I need to do it slowly since she sometimes has a sensitive tummy.

I'm considering going to a premade raw to replace some of the canned food.   I'm also considering leaving the turkey, sirloin and chicken raw.

Both of mine eat the same thing. Twice a day they get 1/4 cup of Eagle Pack Holistic Lamb Meal & Rice kibble with different things that I rotate mixing in. Usually about a TBSP of canned Wellness or Canidae. Over the past few days I've been mixing in cottage cheese instead. I had been giving them California Natural healthbars as a treat and bedtime snack, but when I ran out I decided to use up a bag of Wellness Lamb kibble as treats. Recently I started also giving them Eagle Pack Holistic Solution (a probiotic and prebiotic powder) a few times a week. They only drink purified water.

Gingerbread is 2 years old and 11 pounds. Fudge is 6 months old and 10 pounds.

Dakota - 14 yr old husky, 55lbs - Canidea Platinum, 2 to 2.5 cups per day

Neiko - 8 month old Aussie, 45 lbs - Canidae All life stages, 2 to 3 cups per day depending on our activity level that day.

Both dogs also get kongs stuff with Natural Balance Lamb twice per day (sometimes this changes though- could be kibble + peanut butter, kibble + pumpkin, etc)

I also use the Natural Balance for training treats as well.

    Willow--approx 6 yr old, 47 lbs.

    3x's per day--
1/3 cup Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish kibble with about 1/2 small can of canned food with a small amount of cheese on top.

She also gets instead of canned or in addition to less canned boiled turkey breast, cottage cheese or canned fish.

She gets a hip/joint supplement and a multi-vitamin per day also.  And, normally I'd like to give her Grizzly Salmon oil but as of late have stopped.
