Patton is a 9-10 month old 33lb Australian Cattle dog mix.

He gets Orijen as his primarly food. He has a full bowl 24/7. Because he only eats a few bites here and there and has maintained a healthy weight we don't feed at certain times during the day. We are fortunate that he doesn't overeat.

As far as "treats" go...He usually gets a greenie every couple of days and a rawhide a couple times a week. If he has been out for a while in the heat (esp. after the dog park or a long walk) he gets a Frosty Paws to help cool him down. Unfortunately he hates everything that could possibly go into a Kong so we have no luck with that! [;)]

or he gets a large can of SG Green cow tripe plus kibble or beef & carb
4-5 times a week he gets reduced kibble  (total of 1.5 cups) and 1/2 lb of  raw ground beef, beef heart or cooked oily fish with potato or brown rice or sweet potato

Rascal gets Timberwolf Wild 'n Natural kibble - ~1/3 cup morning and night. Most days he gets a dribble of salmon oil mixed into it, and a few times a week he gets a vitamin E cap mixed in, too. I usually add water to it, and sometimes some plain yogurt, too.

For snacks (like frozen in a kong if he has to be crated while I'm gone) he gets plain yogurt, vegetables (sweet potatoes, broccoli, green beans, and zuchinni are his favorite), and meat (unseasoned remnants of whatever I am eating). He also has some fancypants "enzymatic" rawhide-like chews for days when I don't feel like brushing his teeth. [:D]

I used to feed a mostly organic diet consisting of: (1). Raw, organic meat (2.) Raw, organic egg (3.) Organic, plain, low-fat, live-culture yogurt (4.) Raw, organic vegetables and fruits (5.) Organic olive or flaxseed oil (6.) Organic oatmeal (7.) Solid Gold Mmillenia as a dry base. Our very bad financial situation has forced me to just feed the dry base food. But once we get going again, I'll be feeding basically the same thing only without the base food or outmeal and with a vitamin supplement.

I currently have an old english mastiff and he eats about 4 cups Eagle Pack (we change varieties every couple months) with a few spoonfuls of chicken soup canned adult  mixed.  We divide it up morning and evening and in the morning he gets a Rimadyl for arthiritis and a glyco flex supplement.  He  also gets a Kirkland dog biscuit in the afternoon.(he's 7 and vet wants him slim)

Our mixed breed lab/border collie has 2 cups Purina One Natural Blends (only thing she can eat without runny poop) divided morning and evening with canned chicken soup for the dog lover's soul and an afternoon Kirkland biscuit.

They both get another biscuit before bed.  That's it.

Zoe is a 2 year old, 8 lb miniature dachshund.

Mornings she gets 1/4 cup Innova Small Bites with 1/2 pump of grizzly salmon oil and a few drops of warm water

Evenings I rotate between 1/2 of a small can of Solid Gold canned with 5 drops of vitamin E oil, and recently homecooked meals from the Pitcairn book (tonight she had turkey, oats and veggies, supplemented and balanced with calcium).

For treats it is hard to say, I rotate between so many kinds.  Right now we have an open bag of Buddy Biscuits.  For training I use mozzarella cheese or little bits of whatever I'm eating for dinner.

She is very food motivated which makes training a snap, but only when you have a tasty treat in your hand!

Molly weighs 16 pounds. The vet says 13 to 14 tops. So Molly is on now on a diet. I give her 1/4 kibble (Timberwolf) + 1 T. canned Evangers twice a day which is her norm. It was all the extra treats Hubby was giving her where the extra weight came from I think. I found Hubby feeding her treat after treat like Molly was at a movie eating popcorn. Now until Molly loses a few pounds she only gets freeze dried fruit snacks as treats and in moderation + more exercise. Hope it does the trick.
