Which one of you still feed the canned food?

Which one of you still feed the canned food, and which ones? I'm trying to switch to home cooking, but so far with very little progress, haven't found good recipies, etc, so for now my dogs are still on Truimph canned food.

I use Timberwolf Organics canned.  They only have one kind right now, and some of stated their dogs don't like it, but my Lab goes crazy for it.  It's grain-free, and ships for free from TWO.

I'm still feeding canned food. I got about 4 cans of Nature's Variety, but they were expensive and driving 20 minutes each way to get them is less realistic than I thought. I'm going to start feeding Innova canned again. I've fed their canned EVO before. I feel comfortable with Natura (the maker of Innova, EVO, and California Natural). I don't know if everyone does... it's a decision each person has to make for themselves really as far as what they feel comfortable feeding.

By Nature Organics is the only canned I have right now.

There are several other products I would still use though, Natura products, Eagle Pack, Spot's Stew...

There are a few brands I would still feel comfortable using - Evanger's, By Nature, Canidae, and Natura's foods.

Cathy-- they are now recalling due to cross contamination, BE CAREFUL!!  (see above) SOOOO SCARY!

I'm feeding Evangers canned. I was using Solid Gold, without problem.  But my local store brought in Evangers and it's hand canned in their factory -- which makes me feel a lot better.

By "see above" I meant the pet recall area... it'd be easier if i just added the link, I think! :)  [linkhttp://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=336442]http://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=336442[/link]

I have some cans of Evangers - Lamb and Rice dinner that I use to make homemade treats with. Cooked chicken, Buffalo, and Pheasant to be used as toppers. I not using them right now. I using baby food and home cooked toppers.

I have Timberwolf  Bison as her kibble and she has been eating out of the same bag before the recall started (I buy big bags and freeze) so I know the sack is good.

I sent back the cans of Wellness and the Treats from Natural Choice because of the recalls.

I am just afraid if I use something canned the next day they will have a recall on it. So you gotta do what you think that you gotta do to keep your pet safe.

I do want to add that I do not think that Evangers is bad because its not. If I was going to feed a canned food this would be the one I would feed at this point. I am a wimp so I`m not going to go with any canned food at this point. But I`m not going to return my Evanger cans cause I know its about 100% no recalls on this but like I said I`m a wimp and Molly means to much to me to put her life in danger because of a can of food.

I'm feeding EP holistic canned.  I am a tad nervous after reading cross contamination info though.  Opinions?
