But, I can still see why your skeptical. Are you also skeptical about Purina? I'm just asking because it seemed to me that when you posted the e-mails they sent you you were pretty confident in that they were telling the whole story. Why would Natural Balance doing this be different to you? I'm not trying to get you upset just wondering. If it's something against the "holistic" companies vs big names, or??
I posted those e-mails from Purina because I thought the idea was to post any and everything we had information on....any company, any food. I don't think i said that purina was honest to the core, that we could believe every word they said. I just posted what they said. And no, I do not fully trust any company to be totally honest when it comes to $$$$$$$. And that is everything from dog food makers to drug makers to automobile makers.
This is a little OT, but is the start of my reason for distrust. My dad had what I thought was mini strokes, the doctor diagnosed him as hyper ventilating and told him to breath in a paper bag when he felt a spell coming on. Well, he passed out at work, was taken to the hospital--this in Austin, Texas--and it took a WEEK to diagnosis--guess what, mini strokes caused when small pieces of a clot in his neck broke off. They messed around thinning and thickening his blood and then took him into surgery AS PLANNED with his BP off the scale and he had a massive stroke during surgery. The the next two weeks he was in ICU we were lied to--no he didn't have pneumoania, but my brother got his chart and it was there on the chart--pnemonia. That was just one of many lies we were told. My dad died after 2 weeks in ICU, he was 58 years old. They were covering their butts. He should have never gone into surgery with his BP like that, but it was scheduled, and they were going to do it regardless. Then the lies to cover their butts. We should have sued, but we didn't.
Over the years there have been lots of things that have caused me to be so darn skeptical of any company when it comes to losing money for their stock holders, owners, etc. Some were minor--like bumper to bumper coverage on new car, a month later the trunk lock breaks--it isn't part of the bumper to bumper coverage.--my DIL new car. Bumper to Bumper coverage and the hidden antenna won't come up when car started. The motor is covered, but this part isn't and since it can't be replaced, the entire motor has to be replaced, but since this part isn't covered, then my brother had to pay for new motor. Was double talk as far as he was concerned. Just so many little things like that.
I use to believe everything i was told, that i read, etc, but in my old age i no longer do when it comes to companies, any of them. iI do believe people til i catch them in a lie, and for ever after I tend to doubt what they say unless i already know it is true. I am not talking about a mistake, but an out and out lie that they know is a lie.
