    Orijen

The place where I get my dog and cat food (currently feeding innova) just got a new brand called Orijen. I'd never heard of it before. Any reviews? It seems like good stuff, what with the no grains and all.

You are incredibly LUCKY to have it available locally! It's only sold in about 4 states so far in the U.S. Most of us would sell our first born to get our hands on that food! Okay not really [;)] but you get the point. The ingredients are awesome and the people that do feed it report improved condition even when they were already feeding a super premium food. In short, I highly recommend trying it! [:D]

Yeah, I wish they'd start selling it here. I'd definitely buy it!

I've heard that it is really high quality food.

    Lucky you!
It's Canadian made and not even  available in the province of Quebec yet...[:(]
Cant wait to get my hand on it!
Great looking stuff in my opinion![;)]

Where are you getting Orijen from? I have been using the adult formula for over three months and the results are outstanding. My dog loves this food and her energy level, shiny coat, small well formed poops are a tribute to this excellent food. I have been ordering it fronm only4pets in Florida but hope to be able to get it locally soon.

Aren't you the one who uses Nature's Logic?
If so, I've been considering using this food for Ella.

    Why'd you switch?

Orijen is available online, but gosh, is it expensive. If you want to, try it out and let us know what you think! It looks like a great food.

Well after posting that Orijen was not available to me i went to their web site and guess what???
It's now available 10 min from home at Global's....ohoo!!!!!!!!!
I call and he just received the product last Friday, so out  the door i go to get myself a bag![:D]
Will give you some feedback after i give it to my 2 dogs...

Wow, if I had known it would have such awesome reviews, I would've bought it! Instead I got my regular large bag of innova, which will last me months. The orijen is actually less expensive than the innova, but that might be because it's new... I should go back and get some.

And for those who are curious, I get it at "Just for Pets". I think it's a local business, but I'm not sure.

My 2 dogs and 7 cats have been on Orijen for the past 3 months or so. I can only say positive things. Their coats turned unbelieveably silky, and they are more active.  I would definitely recommend it.
(other foods my guys have eaten are: Innova, Fromm(great products but i wanted something canadian))

thx for the input from u guys. i am thinking to switch my goldie and pug to Orijen. we do have pet food stores carrying this brand. they r on eagle pack holistics chicken and rice formula right now. they've been on EP for 2 mths alrdy but on different formula. there is one problem i am considering is that Orijen has much more protein than EP, so i am not sure if it is good for my pug who is overweight lol i believe my goldie should be ok with higher protein, 'coz he has a lot of exercise every day. could u plz give me some advice on that? is it hard to see the result from one dog food if the dogs r on it for a short period of time? so i need to switch to Orijen or stick with EP for another mth?
