TWO is in a niche - they cater to eople who are ultra concered about their dog's health and their food.  Because of this, these people have a higher set of standards and demand more and are just "pickier".  Things that wouldn't bother the average joe picking up chow-chow is going to make a huge difference to the people buying TWO.

Selling in a niche market means catering to a more food educated people, who are naturally going to be more demanding about all the little details.

That sums it up wonderfully.

It's generally SOP on forums to search a topic before asking questions.  It keeps information relevant and keeps threads from being filled with the same information over and over, which is what the TWO threads have become.

i didn't come here with any questions about TO. i'm happy with my current food, but always open to new suggestions. thanks to the info on this thread and subsequent searching i've decided not to consider TO in the near future.

Here's my question:
 
If the different kibble sizes were put in the bags as a trial, how are you finding out how customers liked it?  There is no survey on your website, there is nothing in the bag, etc.
 
I think that it was an accident, but the company wanted to save face and not make it look like yet another sloppy mishap occured so you're saying it's a trial.  what kind of trial is it if you have no idea how people like the new kibble size?!
 
I am one of the people that got a different kibble size.  I buy the Wild n' Natural because it is nice and small for my chihuahuas and high energy.  The last bag I got was rancid so I returned it and got another bag which had much larger kibbles in it.  I was disappointed since I really liked the smaller size and was given no warning.  Also, these larger kibbles do NOT smell the same as the original sized kibble that I bought a few months ago.  It's not bad, but definitely different.
 
I am in love with the ingredients in TWO but starting to get really fed up about the rest of the BS...

Iodine...if the question is about Iodine levels, AAFCO requires a minimum of 1.5 mg/kg and the requirement is part of the AAFCO Nutrient Profiles for any company that lists "100% Complete..." on the bag. Every company with the AAFCO statement knows their Iodine level.
 
 

I find it really bizarre that a pet food company would throw in kibble of a different size and colour to their formulas without putting a sticker on the bag informing the public. I think this is totally unacceptable.

I help moderate one of the more popular Yahoo groups.  Right now I think we just hit over 1000 members (people are coming and going all time).  Anyway, a few recent posts have just come through (today) about some dogs suddenly refusing to eat their TWO.  A few have commented they have very recently noticed this happening.  I was wondering if any the TWO people here at this fine establishment have noted similar happenings?  If this issue has been discussed prior here in the thread I do apologize, I didn't read all 5 pages of the thread.  I'm thinking you are have bag issues again or something with the customer service?  As you know I am not a TWO person and not here to stir the pot, but just wondering if this is an isolated incident with a few over at the other group or is it more widespread.

Same here.  I rotate between the W&N and OB and have never had a problem with not eating, rancid kibble, or kibble size.  I purchase direct from Timberwolf as I'm not aware of any stores local to Cleveland, OH that carry it.

I just tried to do a zipcode search online for Cleveland Ohio so that I could put some zips in the "where to buy" area of TO's site. I don't want to ask you your zipcode because I'm not some weird internet psycho.
But I thought if I could help you find somewhere locally that sells T.O., then that store might have other goodies that you could buy for your dog.[]
