    You can keep bringing up past issues that were truly unfortunate, but there are plenty of people who have never had any problems and swear by their products.


    I'm glad it works well for you, but the amount of people who have mentioned problems seems severely disproportionate to the amount that hasn't had any.  

    Chris, just FYI, I decided a long time ago not to use Timberwolf, for all the reasons Luvntzus mentioned, and also, I might put up with crap from a company with a good product, but we really had bad results with it.


    Generally people don't provide comments if they don't have problems.  I just think it is unfair to bring up past issues everytime someone comments on this company.   I believe that a quality product outweighs a few past customer service issues.  If others believe differently that's their prerogative. 

    Also, there is a 54 page thread entirely about Timberwolf on this site with plenty of positive comments about the product.

    I guess my question now becomes: Is it common for companies to enter a contractual situation with a manufacturer that demands to remain unknown?

    I'm clueless on this stuff. Honestly, my field will be occupational therapy, not business.


    If that manufacturer also had a competing product I could see how they would want to remain nameless.  Let's say that company A (who makes their own food) figured out that they could make money by manufacturing for other smaller operations in their plants.   They may not want their name associated with the competing product.  I'm not saying that's what's going on, but it's about the only plausible thing I can think of.

    I too feed TWO and have for several years.   I have yet to have a problem with their customer service, the food or their policies.  I order direct from their website and always receive my order in a timely fashion (generally 3-4 days) and it is always fresh.  I have ordered on a Friday and received my order on Monday.   I feed three dogs and rotate the formulas.  They all thrive on the feed and love it.  I will continue to feed TWO.

    Their customer service issues passed 'a few' a long time ago. Also, it's not just old issues. The issues people have had in the past are STILL happening. Not to mention, some of those old issues were big ones.

    If they just had a few past customer service issues then that wouldn't be a big deal. Also, these aren't all past issues. Just the day before YESTERDAY, I saw plain, oddly shaped silver bags of Ocean Blue with only a sticker as the label at my local pet supply store. I've heard of people on here ordering directly from the company and receiving a similarly packaged product. Very recently lots of people have mentioned the bad smelling bags of Wild and Natural. And right now the company is refusing to disclose where their canned food is produced. All of those issues form a whole that leads me to not have a lot of faith in the company.

    I want to mention though to Chris- I really apologize if it sounded like my comments were directly towards you, because they really aren't! It's the company as a whole, and most importantly, the founder of the company that are accountable.

    Their customer service issues past 'a few' a long time ago. Also, it's not just old issues. The issues people have had in the past are STILL happening.


    Like what?  I see a billing issue from a while back that started because people were trying to take advantage of a website problem.  There were some past QC probelms, but what are the current probelms?

    Well, despite hearing about "issues" with them, I ordered my first bag from TWO a few weeks ago and have been very happy with the product (Wild 'n Natural). We're not 100% switched over from his old food yet, but his eyes have already seemed less runny and he's pooping normally and nicely. He also likes the taste of the kibble (and he's a picky little sod) and I think it smells much nicer that what we were feeding before.

    I also contacted their customer service a while ago to ask about samples and suppliers, and they were very helpful and nice.

    So, my limited experice with TWO (ordering with a credit card directly from their website) has been quite lovely so far.
