Yes, my 12 1/2 year old irish Setter died of bone cancer 9 years ago. Now don't tell me that only purina, iams, Hills, etc fed dogs die of bone cancer and that if I had been feeding him whatever you feed your dogs he would not have gotten cancer.
I just don't understand why it is that if a premium fed dog dies of cancer, liver disease, heart attack, seizures, epilepsy, allergies, stroke, it is just luck of the draw. But let a Hills, pedigree, Purina, Iams, etc dog die of any of them and it is instantly the garbage dog food that caused it.
EDITED I thought i would throw in a picture or two of Boots so you could see how horrible he looked on purina dog chow. He liked to get up in the chair, turn around and sit on the table so he could see what i was doing on the kitchen counter. he knew he wasnt suppose to do that, but he just couldn't resist. my son snapped this picture as when I moved to get the camera, he would get down. On this day Ron sneaked up on him.
