My TWO Finally Arrived!!

I'd seriously take a picture if no one would vomit. LOL! It's hard to describe sometimes, but a picture says a thousand words. We seem to be poop-obsessed, but I bet the obsession would fade if we SAW an actual poop report.

LMAO!!  I was only half-kidding.  I kind of want to snap a pic and compare to see how different/similar it looks.

Yep, I'm definitely a few cards short of a full deck! [sm=rofl.gif]

I noticed the changes, too! The small bag design they had has been changed to actual pictures ... interesting.

And I e-mailed Carol about the canned food. It sounds really great from what she told me.

Funny huh...I went on to see if their was anything about the canned food.  DO you know if it contains any rice??? I hope not since JJ is allergic.   I really want to try the salmon one and the caribou when it is ready to be released but sounds like they are only releasing the pheasant right now.

I'll check my e-mail and see if Carol mentioned rice.  I don't think she did, but that doesn't mean they won't be using it ...

The first formula will be Pheasant, Chicken Liver, Trout, & Sweet potatoes.

There was nothing about rice.  I guess they may use sweet potatoes instead ... ???

excellent!![;)]  I don't feed any regular canned food right now but occasionally I feed evangers 100% meat.  I like having evangers, pumpkin and canned salmon to mix in when i am out of the crockpotted foods  (like right now![;)])

Roxie has super pudding poop on canned, no matter what brand or the quality.  She just doesn't do well on it.  Since we're doing very well on TWO's dry kibble, I don't know if I'd chance it ... but I want to try ... LOL!

Probably for the greenest/darkest poop.  [sm=rofl.gif]

    Just an observation ...

I think Roxie enjoys this food over all others that she has previously eaten, including the damn Nutro Ultra.  When I fill her bowl, she eats enthusiastically and really seems to savor the food.  She ate about a cup and a half this morning, which leaves another cup and a half.  I expect her to finish it later.  [:D]

T.O. makes the only kibble that Ella will eat enthusiastically.

Did you take before and after pics of Roxie so that you can note for sure any improvements she's made?

Yeah, I have tons of Roxie pics from before.  I already think her coat is looking and feeling better.  That may be in my head, though.  Maybe I'm convincing myself that it's *already* improved.  [:D

I'm sure the difference will be huge.  The earliest difference so far is how much she seriously WANTS to eat, like I said before.  She's always been a grazer.  I'd fill her bowl with the recommended amount on the bag and let her eat during the day.  Yep, I'm one of those horrible free feeders -- LOL!  I tried the twice a day thing, but she didn't care how long the food was there.  She eats when she wants to eat ... and that's fine with me.  I always check her food to see how much she has eaten and balance it out the next day.  With the TWO, she has been eating most of it at once, rather than letting it sit around for most of the day.

Ditto...mine LOVE TWO!!  they are great eaters, but they devour the TWO like it was tehri last meal every single time I feed them.  Even if I only add in a little water, they eat it all up faster than any otehr food I have tried.
One of my cats loves it too and will get on the counter and eat it plain out of the dogs bowls while I am preparing everyones meals.

It took about 2 weeks and then I saw a huge difference in their already excellent coat.  They both got softer, JJ's shine increased a little more (but he already was looking fantastic on the Pinnacle) and Pru is so snuggly soft and actually has an unbelievable shine (hard to see on a white with brown spotted dog).  [;)]

Roxie has been VERY ITCHY.  Not just a little scratch here, a little nibble there.  I mean, she's seriously digging and biting.  It's gotten annoying for me, so I know it's driving her crazy.  She's on Frontline Plus, so it can't be fleas.  Do you think there's something in the bison that's doing this?  It really just flared up over the last day or so ... maybe it's an environmental thing.  [:@]

could be environmental OR food....food is much less likely though (if it is an actual ALLERGY, food related ones only account for about 10% of allergy problems in dogs).     I would give it another day or two and then if she is still doing it try benedryl.  If it is food allergy, then the benedryl won't help it, but for environmental it will.   If it has only been a day or so I would give it a little more time.  Here are some helpful links.

Twin- this poop report is for you!!

Dh and I go this afternoon in the RV with the pups to go camping so no poop reports from me for a few days.

This morning#%92s was REALLY good. JJ#%92s is almost normal Pru#%92s is close to normal and  getting better but she is STILL really soft on the 2nd poop.  For some reason she has been pooping twice on walks. 1 right away that is pretty firm and the second one is toward the end of the walk and is soft.  Not sure why but I will continue them on the transitioning phase for a bit longer!!

Rachel…hope the package came and that Max has a happy crockpotting weekend!!

    Have a great weekend everyone!
