POOP REPORT!!! (Actually, I have two different reports -- one from last night and one from this evening!) That means ... DOUBLE POOP REPORT!!! [

]
Last night was well formed and solid. Very nice. I was thrilled! This evening's was even better and seemed smaller, even though she'd eaten about the same (two cups). So far, the Dakota Bison is working extremely well for Roxie. I'm hoping the Southwest Chicken and Herbs works out okay, too, but I won't know for another week and a half (with the amount of bison I still have).
Here's another idea I've had. Since Trixie hates Serengeti ([
:@]), I'll be feeding it to Roxie. I'm going to alternate from a bison/southwest chicken mix to a bison/serengeti chicken mix and see which, if either, contribute to pudding poop. I'm considering ordering a four pound bag of Ocean Blue, too, just to do the same thing -- bison/fish mix. I'll do that when I'm low on bison, though.
Eventually, I want to know which formulas Roxie can tolerate and which ones she cannot. Dakota Bison is a definite YES, but the jury is out on the others.
Shelly, Trixie is a seven month old kitten. She's back to eating her Nutro Natural Choice Indoor Kitten kibble. I give her one pouch each day, too. She's done very well on Nutro, but I've known how much better she could do. Felidae, Innova and EVO, CA Natural, and Serengeti have all failed. Healthwise was the only Natura cat food she'd touch, but that didn't last long. Nutro has been the one she loves to eat.
Chelsea, that's what I was afraid of. She's only five pounds, so there's not much weight for her to lose. How come your cats only eat SD? Nutro NC isn't the greatest, but it has worked well for Trixie. I hate that it's expensive for what I get, but I'm stuck with a Nutro NC-loving kitten. LOL! Is that the same situation you're in?
