Congrats on getting your food!

I just started Duke & Daisy on TWO about a week ago. Duke is a very picky eater. He seems to be eating the TWO better than any kibble before... but I still have to be persistent with him to get him to eat. What canned meat are you going to mix in with the kibble? I would like to start mixing some canned meat, but wasn't sure which type to try.

Duke & Daisy's poops have been really good. Tomorrow will be their first day eating JUST the TWO (no more solid gold mixed in), so we will see how their poop is tomorrow. But I have definitely seen an improvement since they have been on TWO.

So I was a bit (A LOT) disappointed when my bag of Wilderness Elk had a hole in the side of!! [:@] So much for their oxygenated packaging for freshness if there is a hole in it. So, I know it had this hole the entire time it was in shipping...maybe longer, who knows! Thumbs down for that...[sm=uhoh.gif]

You should be able to get another bag sent out for free. A hole in the bag is a contaminated bag, IMO.
I ordered a 50 lb. bag of guinea pig food one time from Oxbow, and it arrived with a hole in the bag, and they sent me another bag no charge.

LOL [sm=lol.gif] those are my favorites on this website, but on the greytalk website they have some AMAZING ones. . .dancing banana, puking pacman, dog pooping, guy eating out of a popcorn bucket holding a sign saying "more drama please!", guy holding sign saying "don't feed the trolls". . . .TONS of them, I just don't know how to download those for use on i-dog. [&:]

Can't wait to hear how the first poop is. . . and yes, they are still green around here! [

] but now that we are only on 25% of the old stuff with no more tummy gurgles and gas, [sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif] so I stopped addding the prozyme and they seem to be doing great! Much lower volume than the first few days and , I haven't noticed much odor. [

] VERY pleased thus far and we aren't even fully switched.Hope your pup ate the TWO today and had good output!

I just recently found out from Willowchow and Mudpuppy about Evangers canned 100% meat. I started feeding it and my pups as just a little topper for variety when I don't get around to crockpotting for them and they LOVE it!!!
The stuff that looks more like canned dog food I can get for about .85 cents a can at a local pet food store, but some of it (like the quail and rabbit and the Roast beef is close to $2.00 a can ), so if you are actually looking for "canned meat" and not just canned dog food this is might be a good option. Since your pup is really picky, you might want to try the roast beef. . .it seriously smells just like the canned roast beef they sell in cans for humans. All it is is roast beef cooked in water and its own juices and there is plenty of the "broth" to flavor the kibble with.

Well yesturday I went over to my moms house and gave my pup a soup bone (the one that looks like a knee cap or something ballish...kinda gross I know!). Anyway, I didn't think to hold off because I would be giving him his first mix of TWO that evening. Oh well....anyway he just loved that RMB!

This morning his poop was GREAT!! Not soft at all and normal color...and just one loaf! He he he...I was so excited because I thought if he did have a soft poop problem it would have been from the RMB. But all looked excellent this morning! Then we came inside to eat his breakfast of 3/4 Canidae and 1/4 TWO without any canned food added...and guess what...of course...he wouldn't touch it! [:@]

ICKY PICKY POO! Anyway, I am not going to give in a give him canned just yet, because I want to make sure he is digesting the TWO well. Oh well, this is completely normal for him to turn up his nose to every kibble. So frustrating though...we spend enough on their darned food...the need to appreciate! He he he...j/k.

So, looks like breakfast is a bust and I will be picking it up here in a minute. Hopefully, he will be hungry for dinner.

I give my boy Innova EVO 95% Canned...it comes in 5 flavors...beef, venison, duck, rabbit, and chicken/turkey. He goes absolutely NUTS for it. It is awesome because it is 95% meat with no grains or anything. Also, I was going to look into Evanger's but I have heard they have some quality control issues (people finding rubber bands in their canned food)...so I am just sticking with Innova! [

Does you pup do a little better with the plain kibble if you add a teaspoon of water?? Mine almost never eat plain kibble, at the least I have to add a little water or a teaspoon of yogurt.

I can't remember exactly which board I heard that statement...but either way I am not risking it! I am sure that it was a fluke accident...but that kind of stuff scares me. Rubber bands can get caught in their system and...snap...ouch, who knows??

Yes, it is just slightly warmed or room temp at the very least. Maybe just try it with a VERY small amount of kibble and see if it makes difference.
I can't believe that you already got a statement saying it is being shipped!!
You have to let us know how long it takes this time around.

POOP REPORT!!

OK, so my pup just went outside now, and he pooped again (probably the rest of it since earlier this morning was just a little loaf). [

] It was the weirdest color! You were right jjsmom06! It was like light green/yellow? I can't even describe it, how weird!! Did anyone else have this color poop when they were first switching to TWO? Also, how long did it last? Did it ever get a dark, normal color? It was very small, compact, firm, no odor...that was all a plus...but it was an odd color!!
