Here we go, this is my current state.
I, personally, for the past two days have been feeding my dog kibble and raw burger, mixed together. It's only for one meal, but I haven't had any problems yet. I was having troubles getting her to eat any raw at all so my vet tech suggested trying it this way at first. I'm not going to advise you either way, I'm not experienced enough, but I'll just let you know that I've been doing it and my dog has not shown any problems as of YET. Now, I could get on here tomorrow and being freaking out saying she's ill, but she's actually functioning a lot better. She hasn't had smelly gas and she LOVES her burger and kibble. She gets ALL excited for it.
You said you're having problems getting your dog to take to raw? I was too. I took my vet tech's advice (minus the part where she told me to dampen her kibble and see if she'd eat it that way first and then gradually add in ground burger) and started with ground burger and she's been good on it.
I've heard, also, not to feed raw and kibble at the same time. I still don't have an answer. I would think it would matter, but my dog has been fine. But I freeze the meat and pull it out every morning and put it in my fridge to thaw and feed it around 9 pm every night. I started out with a fattier meat though because A.) it was cheaper B.) I figured the extra fat might make it tastier/more tempting for her.
Whatever it was, it worked.
