Don't you know? Fish oil is a magical elixir! LOL! For both people and dogs! LOL! [

] I take it for good heart and skin health. It's good if you are diabetic. It's great for cholesterol. I have almost no eczema issues with a regimen of fish and coconut oil. [

] The Omega 3 oils are good for heart, joints, immunity, skin & coat, arthritis, and a variety of other things for dogs.
I used to give capsules, but then I realized it was a lot more cost effective for as much dog as I now have to get the oil in pump form. You want to get whole fish oil (not just cod liver oil, for example) and wild caught salmon, not farmed.
You want no more than 50 mg of Omega 3 per pound of body weight. So whatever you end up getting, make sure to check how much Omega 3 is in it. (For example, the capsules I take have 200 mg Omega 3 per 1000 mg of fish oil.)
You also want to make sure you supplement Vit E on a per pound basis as well (can't remember off the top of my head what that is).
